Well I dont know about New Orleans. Why? Because when we were there on cleanup after the storm they started to shoot at us and we all went to the boss...and I will tell you in plain terms in exact language what I told him.
“I dont care if these God Dam N*&gers all die. They can kiss our asses if they think we will help them anymore”!
We left and went to Mississippi and cleaned up there. There, we even got food and drink brought to us by Black and White folks who were thankful. We worked over 12 hours a day, every day, till our areas were done.
Now we drown in a cesspool of government and leftist interference.
Correction . . .
Now we drown in a cesspool of government and leftist flatulance and worse.
Think we are well into the *and worse* category now and would welcome the good old days of just flatulence.
Quite so.
Quite so.
Sigh.
Thx for your kind reply.
If the Japanese lived in Haiti, they would have rebuilt that country too, with or without unions.
Very impressive. I think there will be aspects of this tragedy, as horrible as it is, that will bring forth the strength and resolve of the Japanese people in an excellent way.
Big deal. That’s nothing the NY DOT and the unions couldn’t do in 2 years...
If the Japanese lived in Haiti, we’d see FLORIDIANS migrate *TO* Haiti in search of good jobs, good schools, and low crime neighborhoods.
That’s good to hear. At one time there was a large paving contractor in our area who willingly signed completion agreements penalizing his company if they failed to complete the project on time. If completed before, the company was awarded a bonus which was still cheaper than the usual state contracts, what a great company.
The work was quality, there were no “shortcuts”, it had to meet the specific standards. Speaking with some of the employees, there was enthusiasm and pride in their work.
