When the thermometer doesn’t indicate Global Warming, they have to come up with something else. Reminds me of the cults in the South Pacific who built bamboo towers and microphones to replace the real ones after the army left, in order to entice the airplanes to return.

which means not many (or really any) fire ants.

I've noticed that too, but TX Dept of Agriculture released those tiny flies that prey on fire ants. I don't care if it is the cold or the flies, but I haven't finished my can of Orthene fire ant killer I had left over from 2010.

Have you read Feynman’s ‘Cargo Cult Science?’

Richard Feynman gave a commencement speech, back in the sixties I think, that was critical of practices in public education claiming to be based on ‘science’.

It’s an excellent (and short) read.

Yes, Climate change science is indeed another example of a Cargo Cult Science.

What happened to the 'warmest year on record': The truth is global warming has halted

Climategate U-turn as scientist at centre of row admits: There has been no global warming since 1995

Oopsie.

These are the same dumbasses that believe in full blown evolution. Don’t you think that even this little change could be the animals adapting to increase their range?

Both evolution and climate change theories have mountains of solid evidence supporting them. There is even evidence that humans have impacted both processes.

What there is NOT evidence of is that human activity is somehow going to cause a catastrophic oscillation in the weather patterns that will wipe out all life. I notice that in this thread, even those scoffing the loudest at the anthropogenic climate change promoters quite readily state that climate change is fact.

Mountains of evidence? Yes, perhaps to discredit evolution, certainly NOT in support of it. Evolution is a phoney science/religion of the leftist masses. Education is always a good thing when exposing the lies of falsehoods. Simpy saying something is true is, sadly for the left, no longer good enough to smother the reality of creation by a Supreme Being. Your time is up along with the nonsense spewed by all the ignorant and uninformed evolution monkeys.

I’m a scientist. If I did not accept the evidence supporting evolutionary theory, I would be severely hampered in my ability to do research, and doubt I’d be able to do it at all. The theory of evolution is absolutely central to biology, in much the same way the theory of electromagnetism is central to physics.

Freaking palm readers, that’s what these “scientists” are.

Climate models say more volatility lies ahead: warming temperatures, stronger hurricanes, more floods and droughts.

But models can't reveal problems we haven't yet imagined, said ecologist Steve McNulty, a U.S. Forest Service climate researcher based in Raleigh.

If they were real models, then they would "reveal problems we haven't yet imagined."

The fact that they don't says these "models" are not really models, they are limited in accuracy, and you admit they are calibrated to show the results you want them to show. IOW, they are garbage....GIGO.

thank you for your comment. We will probably catch a little flack but I think it is a bad tactic by some of those here to use the clearly fraudulant activities of those pushing anthropogenic global warming to attack other tenets of modern scientific belief. I believe it only helps the warmists attack the credibility of those of us who are skeptical.

I think it is better to stay focused on fighting the bigger threat right now. As far as I know the government doesn't have plans for hundreds of billions of dollars in taxes to “fight global evolution” at this time. Currently we have an administration and the Democratic party who are going full tilt pushing this crap. When you go to look at new cars they actually have a “global warming” score on the window sticker! I think a better tactic would be to soundly defeat the warmists first.
