What affects a body as large as the Sun and how? and how much do they in turn affect other bodies in their immediate vicinity?
Does the Earth contract and squeeze more magma out via volcanos etc as sunspot activity drops off, do the field flux lines move due to the core’s attitude of adjustment as a result? When a pole flips, does it make a sound 8-?
I wonder how far south the ice sheets will get this time.. to Copenhagen at least I hope.. the symbolism would be rich.

Obtain 25 Billion in emergency funding after appearing before another boring United States Congressional committee hearing to discuss the complete elimination and prevention of death by 2050. Ditto, appear before UN General Assembly in NYNY to discuss elimination of death worldwide by 2045, obtain 10 million dollars in funding from George Soros and the IMF for hush money, bribes, illegal drugs and hookers to work Climate Hotspots at conferences around the globe.
Step Four
Hide money is desk drawer, freezer, tool box and underware drawer. Bury money in backyard of Swiss villa while awaiting more emergency grant funding.
Apply for more grants, publish modifications of the WAGED Theory.
Step Five, collect Nobel Prize for Science. Tell audience once again about the more lurid and tasteless elements of the 'we're all gonna eventually die' theory.

Notice that the term “global warming” is no longer used by its followers. The mantra is “global climate change” - as if global climate should never change, or that if it does then humans should have zero effect thereon (never mind urban “pave the earth” behaviors). Now we’ll be inundated with “it’s cooling faster than solar activity dictates, so shut off technology and return to the stone age - or recycle, that’s just as good.”

Perhaps. The leftist effort to "rebrand" global warming as "climate change" is attracting a healthy amount of jeers and ridicule. Most propagandists still pretend that it's getting warmer. We'll see how long they can keep that going.
With luck, the collapse of the government / educrat / media warming paradigm will lead more people to realize that the self-appointed elites are liars, and that you can't trust anything they say.

The American Astronomical Society meeting in Austin has just made a major announcement on the state of the sun. Sunspots may be on the way out and an extended solar minimum may be on the horizon.

As usual, Al Gore and the Progresso's got the science 180 degrees wrong. It is the cold that caused the added moisture. Here is a simple experiment. Take a bottle of liquid in a glass container at room temperature. Put the container in the refrigerator. Cool it down significantly. Once cool, pull the glass container out of the fridge and set it on the table. Watch what happens on the surface of the glass. Moisture will condense from the internal atmosphere of your home and will appear on the surface of the glass. That is because the liquid in the glass is cold. The extra moisture is not caused by any warmth.

All Hams are aware of the 11 year(up ‘till now)cycle of sunspots and hold their breath when the old one hits the bottom and the new one starts up and climbs to it’s maximum about half way through the cycle. It is documented by scientists we just use their data. In the many years I have been a ham this is the worse sunspot cycle I have ever seen.
I remember that WUWT article (Sunspots may vanish by 2015). It looks like the recent data tracks right along with L&P’s prediction.
