Once again a great sin of the warmists is their failure to divulge all pertinent info concerning the history of the earth. A huge sin of the warmists is their hiding of the facts concerning past warming episodes in the earth’s past which were considerably warmer than today. And the earth is still here. Now how can that be if warmer temps means inevitable disaster? The warmists are real shy about mentiong the warmer eras in the past like when Greenland was really green because it was a lot warmer.

It might be easier to compare Liberals brains with Conservative brains if they're next to each other:

If you look at the numbers,

it’s actually IMPOSSIBLE that human generated CO2 has any effect on the climate.

Human caused CO2 accounts for 0.117% of the greenhouse effect. The greenhouse effect is, theoretically, what causes “global warming” or “climate change”.

Number 5 has been indoctrinated to believe there is no Creator, they evolved from slime, and their lives are meaningless unless they ascribe to some liberal cause.

Those who understand who they are, a special creation of God, have no such need to find meaning in “saving the erf”.

I would say “no” evidence takes it too far; agriculture alters the land, industry alters air and water supplies. How much? Not as much as my cousin Al believes.

I also believe that, by offering a small amount of money, one could convince 30% of Americans to assert publicly and probably swear in writing that snow is black.

Why waste your money?

Snow IS black. It only looks white, because it falls through a cold, wet layer of atmosphere that gives it a frosty coating.

When the coating melts off, what is left is the core of black, sticky goo that is the actual snow. It takes days to dry out, and then becomes new soil.

For some reason, the stuff that falls on bare ground has more snow content (sometimes enough to scrape an inch or so off of rubber boots after walking in it) than the stuff that falls on cars, houses, concrete, etc.

It's not just the numbers. It's also that the mechanism proposed does not (and cannot) increase the total amount of energy in the atmosphere--which is what would have to happen to have the "greenhouse effect."

You are correct. I should have stipulated that there is no evidence of human-caused effect on global climate.

Local effects are, of course, well documented. But do they have an effect when looking at the big picture? I think that they get swallowed up in the normal background climate variability.

Thanks ApplegateRanch.
The media under-reports climate change. Oh yes. That will explain, for example, the recent widely reported story Decline Of Oceans Worse Than Previously Thought
y'know, because the global warming demagogues have been claiming nonstop for years that the oceans are rising, and will continue to rise until the first hundred (or three hundred) feet of current elevation along the seacosts vanishes under water.

I am not sure where the 100 to 300 feet figure came from. My understanding is the the IPCC report is predicting no more than a meter (40 inches) max for the rest of this century. I’m more scared of boloids.

The IPCC scaled down its estimate in the face of confrontations over its lack of scientific studies. The earlier claims ranged up to 100 meters. The most recent claim I recall is smaller than 1 meter, but even at that rate, it would be ten mm per year, and by now we’d see a four inch rise. Their cheap dodge has been, well, most of the sealevel rise will be near the end of the hun dred year period, which is also by coincidence long after all (or perhcaps most) of us are dead.

We mustn’t have even-handedness in the media. After all, there is an agenda to push.

There's even-handedness in the media? Who says? What, because Fox is slightly less commie that the others, that constitutes even-handedness, and an unacceptable degree of it, at that???

Man and the mass that he manipulates is so ridiculously small compared to those things that run the climate.
