Absolutely. Volcanoes are a part of the natural order of things. Man is not. Natural acts have killed off milions of species since life evolved on the planet Earth.
Man’s conribution to that has been unmeasurble. I find it the height of arrogance when greens tell us man has no business killing off species. Where do they get the knowledge that species man kills off were or were not intended to be killed off by nature?

Whoa...who was that? lol. someone cleaning off the lens?

Did a Google search “Mt Etna erupts” and was quite surprised as to how active she is. My point is I learn something almost every day from this website. Further suggestion is to look at my tagline, and if you need to and are able to, then get involved.

I have read that the total mass of micro-organisms exceeds that total mass of the higher animals. The simplest life terra-forms in ways we cannot imagine. The vanity of modern science is not only that only scientists have true knowledge but that their methodology is capable of discerning all there is to know. Given the complexity of our reality, this is unlikely. But tell that to the average environoimentalist, who puts greater faith in the pronouncements of scientists than I do in those of my priests.
