Don’t worry about it. I did a search and they had only been leaning towards Cain for a whole 4 days! lol

Keep the Cain posts comin’, ignore the idiots who can’t carry on an intelligent fact-based discussion, even from the anonymity of a web forum. The more I hear about Herman Cain, the better I like and respect him.

Nice try to spin his utterly strange remarks that he would support Obama over Perry !

Voting for Obama is like shooting yourself in the head.

But voting for Perry is like strapping yourself to a gurney and inserting a lethal injection into your arm. Yes it is slower, but it gets you to the same place.

I admit that I would vote for Perry over Obama in the general election, but only with the forlorn hope that someone might burst into the room and remove the lethal injection IV before Uncle Sam dies.

There is an argument to made that President Perry will have an EASIER time pushing amnesty for the illegals through a Republican House and Senate than Obama would. It will be harder for those patriots who love our country to resist a president of their own party doing this than a president of the opposing party.

We saw how close Bush came to getting amnesty through.

If amnesty goes through we can say bye-bye to the prospect of electing a conservative on the national ticket for generations.

Actually, I wanted that too until a couple of days ago when he said he could not support Perry as the candidate but could support Romney.

But then today happened and he really showed his true colors.

Race baiting is almost as dispicable as pandering which he also did on the gay soldier issue.

Wow. Some of you Perry supporters have really lost it. You may want to go in with some Ron Paul supporters and get some group rate on tin foil. I mean, you are completely divorced from reality here.

Have you even seen Cain’s attacks on Obama? Here’s a few going back to 2010 (if this isn’t enough, I have 100s more going back to 2007. You just let me know)

He picked who he thought, out of the three, was best to go against the democrat establishment. This is no different than Perry picking Guiliani.

By the way, he was obviously right about McCain.

What was his “gay” statement? Gays, as a rule, don’t vote GOP anyhow.

Perry does not have clean hands in playing the race card.

Well, Perry did tell us that we were heartless because we don’t favor giving in-State tuition rates to brown-skinned people who are here illegally. WASN’T HE PLAYING THE RACE CARD?

He said that he thought the audience was booing at the DADT question, not at the soldier, but in hindsight he thought he should have asked the audience to respect the SOLDIER (not his lifestyle, the PERSON)

http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/world/52668484-68/soldier-cain-gop-candidates.html.csp

FYI, Cain has been outspoken against gay marriage, as a Christian believes it is a sin and was not for the repeal of DADT.

Is that any worse than Perry supporting Giuliani in 2008? Giuliani makes Romney look like Ronald Reagan.

Honestly, there are lots of Perry’s flying monkeys out there screaming that the use of the “N” word is no big deal and that Cain is being a real meanie in calling it “insensitive.” These Perryites are from a differet planet.

He said he would not support Perry if he were to be the GOP candidate. Guess that means he would support Obama.

I guess according to them I’m a race baiter too, because the word bothers me too - and I am a white, middle-aged housewife and homeschooling mom. Imagine how much more meaning it would have had I grown up in the segregated South, having to use separate bathrooms, water fountains, sit in the back of the bus, and such.

Calling it “insensitive” was a very mild reaction, in my opinion, to what he thought had happened. He could have said worse. Maybe it didn’t happen the way the media spun it to Cain - but Perry supporters should take that up with the media, not Cain.

Cain played the race card today and freepers don’t admire that attribute.
