I know how we all feel about Rudy, but with this crap he didn’t fool around. We know what he’d do.

...may I suggest tear gas?

Oooohhh, yes, teargas. In case anyone here hasn't partaken of this lovely experience, let me tell you, it will be apt punishment for these twerps. In police training, I was exposed to just a small whiff of CN teargas. Never again, if I can help it. And the vinegar they are relying on to ward off the effects won't do squat.

Some of us like Rudy. Some of us lived through the 60s and 70s and 80s and remember all the problems. Guiliani straightened it out in the 90s and Bloomberg has brought it all down again. He said today this never would have happened because he would have filed suit against them before they could have moved in.

And the disruptions are only going to get worse. Apparently, the protesters are planning to throw their own little party in Times Square at 5 p.m. on Saturday and then to “occupy the subway” later at 6:30.

OK, I missed the football game, but it appears that the scheduling powers were smiling on us after all.

Big time.

The whole phenomenon is very confusing.

The OWSers and the reporters have been claiming for weeks that the OWS has been keeping the park meticulously clean.

Park management and the locals say that the place is disgusting.

Now the OWS is saying that they are going to spend all day cleaning the park to prevent a city-supervised cleaning. What's the real story?

The OWSers seem to have plenty of money for thousands of gourmet vegan pizza deliveries, multiple generators, tents, sleeping bags, supposedly even a library - but they don't have money to rent portable toilets?

None of the numbers seem to add up - there are supposedly thousands and thousands of these protestors, but there never seems to be more than a couple of hundred in any one place.

My guess is that we'll hear about horrific police brutality tomorrow, there will be twittered/tumblrd photos of OWSers writhing on the ground like Argentine soccer players trying to get their opponents redcarded, but there will be no actual hospital admissions and very few arrests.

As I understand it, they’ve been ‘frequenting’ the local McDonald’s rest rooms. I hope to God New Yorkers are inconvenienced beyond their limits. But then again, even after the Dem Convention in ‘68, Chicago remained quite Dem. Tho, in that case, the cops were cracking heads. NYPD will probably be more retrained, if only for PR purposes.

“There’s a lot of stuff we wouldn’t have to clean up if the city provided basic human rights, like a Port-A-Potty.”

You gotta be kidding me. Everything must have went in one ear and out the other in school, because there’s obviously nothing between their ears. Oh wait, I forgot they don’t actually teach about the constitution in school.

I’d say flash bangs first to disorient them, then the tear gas.

The irony of this...

The intent of this movement is to forment control of the masses.

In order to achieve that end, the organizers have had to recruit people that they cannot control.

This will not end well for those organizers. Their recruits are already turning on them.
