Maybe Paul wants to offer Iran some earmarks.

Apparently Paul has not been paying attention. Even Obama learned the hard way about trying to "offer friendship" to Iran. Worked about as well as it did when Carter tried it in the 70's.

And people say Cain is not a foreign policy wiz. Compared to Paul, he’s a foreign policy genius.

Yeah, go be their buddy yourself, Ron.
Let us know how that works out for you.

The Iranians have not attacked another country for hundreds. It was the secular Saddam, not the Mullahs, who started the last war. It is amazing that so many conservatives act like scared little girls when it comes to a backward medieval regime that can’t even produce enough energy for its own people. Orwell would be amused by their paranoia.

The Iranians have not attacked another country for hundreds That's because these peace loving people have learned to fight their current wars by proxy while they develop nukes.

Another poster explains him best. The person calls him Appeasement Paul. What better title. I think we should have a contest. Who can come up with the title that identifies the surrender monkey best. As of now Appeasement Paul is my first choice.

So they are smart enough to use proxies but dumb enough to directly attack a county, Israel, than rain down hundreds of nukes down on them with a moment’s notice. Yeah....right.
To: ElkGroveDan
Yes Neville Chamberlain is famous for thinking the same thing. History is full of idiot trying to repeat its lessons ala Jimmy Carter.
I am curious how Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani feels about friendship with the Iranian leaders? What makes Ron Paul think we'd be any different?
To: ThirstyMan
Comparing to backward Iranian regime to a military superpower like Nazi Germany is about as silly as it gets. These Nervous Nellie conservatives, who are never happy unless they have a powerful foreign enemy, will probably be warning us about the “Mongol threat” one of these days.
To: Captain Kirk
yeah, you’re right. No worries. They’re too smart to use nukes. Don’t know why the rest of the world can’t see it as clearly as you.

Actually, despite the hype, there isn’t even good evidence they are devoloping nukes.
