I SMELL A "RAT" HERE!
Is that not the same argument that a handful of Freeps (who HATE Mittens AND Mormons) have--and continue to--advance here?
Are they "Paul-Bots" like this guy Root?
So, IF everyone just "stays home" or writes in someone else's name (other than Romney) he will never the less "Miraculously" win "BY A LANDSLIDE?"
Is Root and said Freepers secretly working for Axelrod or the DNC?
Doubt it, but by their actions and "advice" (couched in standing on "PRINCIPLES") it certainly gives one pause and not just a little concern as well as a soupcon of skepticism???
Mr. Root doesn’t realize that the growing voting bloc of entitlement folks will approach 100% for Obama. Add some massive fraud in swing states, and you will have a reciepe for an Obama victory.
As I said on another thread...Beware the ides of October.
Obumbo is becoming a cornerd wild dog.
I do not think his masters will let him lie down and wimper.
Ahh... I don’t know. Too many times I saw a Republican candidate leading in the polls all the way until September, only to see the Dim incumbents got reelected. Not saying that 0bama will be reelected. I just think it’s gonna be a close election.
I disagree.
Never bet against the American People. We were almost completely defeated in World War 2. We just didn't give up. The majority of our Navy was lost at pearl harbor, without GODS help with D-Day that would have gone badly.
Then the trusted A-Bomb built in America and tested with great success in Japan.
If that statement offends anybody TS. The Japs started it we finished it. What does TS mean look it up. The "T" stands for tough.
I don’t expect a landslide, but Obama won in 2008 53-46-1, I think romney will win with a similar spread.
Obama was planning on a big campaign money edge it now appears that Romney will outspend him (Both campaign and SuperPAC money). He is toast. He has been rejected as a result of the economy and Obamacare.
You are right.
I was listening to CSPAN some months ago. The Republicans in the House of Representatives were all discussing some topic (I forget which one) that all Americans would or should support. Then every time a Democrat came to the podium the topic at hand was ignored, not even responded to, and the Democrats’ topic of horribleness of Voter ID laws was harped on over and over.
Sounds to me like a formerly pretty fine American party has turned _____________________________________________.
I think about the lame duck period.Obama’s not going to lose without making sure that we do too.
Ditto, PPP...a big Ditto......
“Obamas constituency are the MSM.”
Spot on. And now, even some of them are starting to jump ship.
The main effect of Gary Johnson will be to draw doper votes away from Obama in states like Colorado. The dopers would normally vote for Obama but are now angry with him due to the DOJ crackdown on medicinal marijuana.
"Military Veterans. McCain won this group by 10 points. Romney is winning by 24 points."
This is the baseline of the swing against Barry, 14 points.
Let's review the election results since Barry was emaculated:
1. 2008 - Obama 53% McCain 46% - subtract 14% gives us Obama 39% Romney 60%.
2. In Virginia - Obama 53% McCain 465 - 2009 Virginia Governor race Bob McDonnell 59% Creigh Deeds 41% - a 12 point swing.
3. In New Jersey - Obama 57% McCain 42% -- New Jersey Governor race - Chris Christie 48% Corzine 45% - 9 point swing.
4. Massachusetts Obama 62% McCain 36% -- Scott Brown 52% Carol Moakley 47% -- 14% swing from Obama to Scott Brown.
I don't even know how to calculate the 2010 mid-terms, even Obama called it a "shellacking". RINO's focus on not capturing the Senate due to crazy Tea-Party candidates. But being RINO's, they miss the big picture. This mid-term reached from the US Senate races putting Rubio, Rand Paul, Mike Lee, Ron Johnson into the Senate down to dog catcher of Lost Lake County Kentucky. Dems were thrown out everywhere.
Is there anything that has changed since 2010 that would help Obama and the Dems? Unless something changes, the trend will continue.
It's going to be a blowout. Fox News continues to ignore Dick Morris, who says virtually all undecideds break for the challenger in Presidential elections. Fox wants to keep the election close for ratings. So, with Romney at 45% and Barry at 43%, the most that Barry is going to get is 43%, probably less due to lower turnout among disaffected Dems and higher turnout among the broken glass Republican base.
My prediction, Barry's going to be lucky if he breaks 40%. His excuse, he was playing black and the electorate was voting white.
Tell me where I'm going wrong here.
What in the world were THEY thinking in 2008???
I'm sure the "hope and change" campaign theme was tested on members of that group before it was selected. They swallowed it hook, line and sinker.
Bravo sir, well played!
CC
He promised the brain dead that they would have a better life if they elected him. They don’t and it’s actually worse.
That group is gone too. But some of them may not even vote this time around anyway.
I think he’s toast; every person I know who voted for him sadly admits to it, but are adamant they won’t do it again.
He’s made fools out of the people who voted for him, and no one likes to be made a fool. Like someone said, he is an a**h*** and now everyone knows it. And no one likes an a**h*** except other a**h***s.
Barry will attempt to cement his anti-American distrucive policies, so they can't be changed by election. Dick Morris points out all these treaties coming up; Law of the Sea, Children's Rights, Guns, etc. Barry's going to try to get them through the US Senate and sign them. Probablby in a lame duck session after the Dem's lose the Senate.
Someone has to plan to stop this.
