Why must we be far-right? I prefer classical liberal. It makes people scratch heads :-)
“Far Right” = Extremists = Threat = Target
I have always disliked him, because he is dishonest. He is pretending to be a conservative to try and sway conservative momentum to liberal ways.
He is establishment and thinking about his job and his cushy lifestyle. That is why I really don’t like him.
Circular firing squad, aim your weapons.
Democrats have got to be loving this.
Well I won’t even say what footprint I’m in, because it depends on the subject.
But I am AGAINST Rove.
Cannot stand the guy. If Rove is for it, I’m opposed.
Pretty much completely.
it’s mutual

“far right conservative”
What an asinine turn of phrase. It is oxymoronic on its face.
Bump!
What was it that W nicknamed him?
“Turd Blossom”, if memory serves.
Well, looks like the bloom is off the Rove.
The other day Hannity was talking about about Paul Harvey and what a long career he had, which made me think about George Putnam who I think continued a radio show into his nineties. And now your comment brings him to mind again because I think he was the most conservative Democrat I ever knew! Now that may not be what you had in mind but makes me wonder what happened to all the old school Democrats like HIM.
>> Circular firing squad, aim your weapons.
Is that comment aimed at Rove? Or at FReepers who don’t like what Rove is doing?
I can’t tell. Seriously.
As far as I’m concerned....the GOPe ARE the Democrap Party. Had them calling me again, today, and told them to get stuffed. We have been betrayed by them for years and I have had ENOUGH.
Was just at my mom’s this afternoon and showed my child a hand-written letter given to her by Reagan. Child was in awe because of doing a class project on him ATM.
I’ll take the bait. Karl Rove has never been a conservative or espoused conservative values. He was a shrewed campaign adviser for Bush and carefully triangulated the electorate to push Bush over the finish line... twice. But he’s no conservative, and is just another DC insider that just so happens to work for a lot of people with R’s next to their names. As such, there is no reason for conservatives, what the article labels as the “far right” to support him.
Far left liberals hate him too.
You’re very correct about George Putnam, and I believe VDH to be a Democrat also. Hard to imagine.
