It’s the Cloward and Piven strategy - collapse the civil society and come in and remake it into a socialist paradise - doing whatever you need to do in the process (think hollow-tipped bullets).

I have no doubt this is their plan. We’ve got to stand strong no matter what.

I blame the media more than anyone else. They have completely gone over to the dark side. They no longer deserve their 1st Amendment protections as they have usurped their role as the 4th Estate watchdogs of our Republic, and have become the 5th column communist accomplices to our marxist led government. The media cannot be one-sided in a free society if that society is to remain free. The nation appears to be equally divided, our half mostly pays for the other. We buy the newspapers and other media products more so than the welfare recipient supporting Obama. We can, and should, change that! Cancel your subscriptions, stop supporting Hollywood and their leftist agenda, let their cronies support them. We can make a difference. The media must be figuratively “burned to the ground” so that a new, honest, and truthful media can arise from the ashes. I’m not calling for violence, or vandalism, or arson, but if push comes to shove, and the various scenarios outlined in the posts above come to fruition, then the media must be included when it’s time to take out the trash.

Agreed, we’re on the same page, my expression was used in the context of what would be done in the case of a deranged, rabid animal, IOW, lights out, Amigo. After all, they deserve no better than the “Il Duce” treatment.

Christ. It wasn’t stolen. Stolen implies that the RINOs wanted to win.

By “stolen”, I meant both parties conspired and stole it from the American people to “save” us.

Agreed, and his lapdog media will be supportive all the way. His plans are evident, thus the perpetual campaign to be thought of as “our daddy.”

baraq and his fellow travellers are setting the table for either a terrorist attack or a financial crisis to have a crisis to take advantage of.

CORRECT! They need a widespread calamity so it'll probably be the financial meltdown but either will do for their purposes and actually BOTH may happen. As an added benefit they can point to either crisis and place blame elsewhere...those dirty rotten terrorists or those evil greedy bankers.

They don't have to change anything for Obama to run for a third term because the way of the criminal class now is to disregard the Constitution and do whatever they like until the Supreme Court tells them they can't. If the Court doesn't tell them they can't, as was the case with Obamacare, they then claim what they did was constitutional all along. Meanwhile, as things are working their way through the legal system, the initial action stays in effect.

With that in mind, Obama will simply announce he's running for a third team with the RATS and the media firmly supporting him. Then it will be up to someone on our side to challenge the constitutionality of what he's doing, but again, while that goes through the courts, Obama's reelection effort will be going full speed ahead.

It's horrible to contemplate that we have come to a point where this is not crazy talk.

Libs are big on “I know it says that, but...”

The only man that could say that with any legitimacy was nailed to a cross a couple thousand years ago.

“I’ve come to realize that conservatives could never form a cohesive resistance. Too many self declared generals demanding respect for themselves while holding an antagonistic attitude toward those in positions of authority now.”

Well said, but can you say more about this?

I ask, because I’ve come here to FR off and on since the Clinton years - mostly for the summary of the news, and partly for some of the humor, but certainly not for any sense of community or united purpose.

The level and frequency of rigid, self-righteous nastiness expressed here between members is really quite amazing - especially as things begin to unwind in the country. There is very little unity of purpose or proposed methods in these dark times, and few even remotely friendly discussions.

The place seems largely populated by temperamental lone wolves and a number of little cliques, mostly, although at times large gangs of bullies will also coalesce to enforce the prevailing, approved viewpoints. This seems not to bode well for the likes of us forming a “cohesive resistance” when the time comes. There are almost none here I would want to lead me when the time comes, and only a handful I’d want by my side.

Maybe it is also like this on Leftist sites online, and maybe on other Conservative sites as well - but that’s not been my impression. That the inability to unite for a common cause may simply be peculiar to this site, and the fact that my Conservative friends and neighbors in real life seem to be better able to do so, seems encouraging to me. Perhaps what happens here is merely a skewed sampling error, born of the “self-declared generals” and other sorts attracted to this particular site. I hope so.

I’d appreciate your further thoughts. The time will certainly come soon when we shall all need to hang together, so not to all hang separately.

He won’t run a third term. Guarentee it. It will be floated by liberal idiots, but nothing more than that.

He won’t run a third term. Guarentee it.

That doesn't mean he'll go away. Democrats never just leave the stage like Republican Presidents do.

Their best weapon is the IRS and the stupid Cloud technology where they can just seize any financial account they want by a key stroke.

IMHO, cloud technology is not stupid. In fact, it's brilliant. At last, everything is in one convenient place. Easy pickins.

Again IMHO, the cloud, facebook, linkedin, pinterest, etc. are evil and should be studiously avoided by anybody wishing to have some freedom in the coming years.

He won’t run again.
Won’t have to.
He just won’t leave.
And who will make him?
Who is making him stay within the law now?
These people are operating completly outside the law and have no intention of starting now or when the second term is up.

If Obama tries a power grab like that, you are right, the Media will praise him and the ‘bots will do nothing.

No Chin McConnell and The Tanned Weeper would not be able to do a damn thing, especially with Holder, China, Iran, Venezuela and Russia being given a pass.

Obama, like his Dad, is a Muslim Marxist, determined to bring the Caliphate to the USA. He uses our laws and immigration against Americans, especially us bitter clingers.

SWAT teams, drones, satellites, cameras, databases, limiting ammo, registration lists...SmartMeters...they can cull a lot of people, very quickly.

The read all these emails, posts and tweets...

Soros, Axelrod, Plouffe, Jarrett, Holdren, Sunstein, Powers, Duncan, Rahm, etc. want us broke, starving, disarmed and really, just dead.

Software engineer by trade.

I disagree. It might work for smaller companies that cannot afford the infrastructure cost for hosting their own data servers (start ups too) but unless you have a live back-up with fail-over capabilities you are cooked if there is a massive failure at your off-site data store or any comm center in between you and the store. Case and point Amazon a few weeks ago, people thought the sky was falling and for those types that are totally clouds it was. In the case of a major country wide incident how do you expect to recover when the power does come back when the incident has permanently or semi-permanently disrupted digital comms (EMP, civil war, natural catastrophe). If you don’t physically have your data, you don’t have it, period. Then having it does you no good if you don’t have the hardware to restore it to and get back up and running. What happens when your trusted off site had a employee embezzle and cause it to shut its doors or an incident like a work place shooting and the doors are locked?

Not to mention the security hassles. You want to bet on who is mining your data? The government is a given.

The cloud was implemented to put more control on who is accessing software and not paying for it. It has facilitated the off shoring of development (don’t get me started on this on how it cost more in the long run in crappy code).

Most times simple is better. Host it yourself. If needed you can make your network secure by simply unplugging it from the external connection until breaches are addressed.

No one, but He won’t stay in office. You don’t think the American public will wonder where the elections are, come Nov? Seriously? If you are serious, then I completely disagree.
