Fantasy?
Yes, that is a common denominator between this murder and the shootings in CT and CO. This young man (17) played Gangsta Rap and lived in a fantasy world of which that genre speaks. “Killing Whitie’s babies” And the shooters in CT and CO were violent on-line gamers who acted out in real life what they fantasized about on-line.
Common Denominator? detachment from reality. Reality is that many people died. Death to a young person does not yet seem real and they are conditioned to ignore what they actually did.
Am I trying to make excuses for them, NO WAY. 17 is old enough to know that murder is wrong, evil and sick.
