I’ve been retired for 20 years and the fear of false charges for even passing on orders to a female service member was very prevalent. I certainly counseled my NCOs and several officers about how they should conduct themselves around military women as well as female civilian employees.

We had a civilian woman who openly boasted about two colonels she had taken down and that if she didn’t get her way she’d take down whomever stood in her way. I had to review her civilian personnel record and it was honestly 4 inches thick! She went a few steps too far and when the EEOC office threw out her latest complaint she tried to intimidate our colonel. Unfortunately for her we had all of the documentation on hand to force her to withdraw charges and to resign from the civil service. What a f’n bitch she was.

This is the fear that a lot of females and probably soon to be a lot of gays will use like hammers to instill fear into the line troops and their officers.

You’re funny. My daughter is USMC. She can cuss, fight and drink with the best of em. That’s the kind of person you want in your military when TSHTF.

Better to get rid of the queers and the PC libs.

***** “What an awful story! All you did was change your clothes and this wimp goes hysterical. I truly feel for our men in the military. I really do.” *****

Saddest part is that telling her to keep her eyes forward was the extent of any conversation with her for the entire 2 1/2 days, her defense was that I did not change for the return flight (well duh... I was chipping ICE to extricate the Tie Downs in Maine, I already had my longjohns on) Post Flight was to be at night and takes mere minutes (Plugs and Oil) no need to change.

TT

PS The Good part about that entire incident is that a year later that Pilot ended up being my Commanding Officer and he transferred me to his CAC (Combat Air Crew) and I got to do what I loved to do, Fly More... I miss my Squadron and my guys.

Get the rude, crude, and socially unacceptable men out.Whatever happened to knowing the bounderies of proper behavior?

What happened? When in history was the average sailor or soldier known for being capable of proper behavior, always and forever, permanently and never making a pass at a gorgeous 18 year old chick, even when half dressed and both of them just waking up?

whats not being reported is that a huge majority of these sexual assaults are male on male...how convenient that the gay lobby doesnt take credit for not reporting this important fact...

Maybe this is why the military kept men and women apart for the last 200 years. The wisdom of our military institutions is not based on politics, special interests or even common sense, as much as it is based on experience-what works and what doesn’t. Second guessing from a narrow, inexperienced, and idyllic philosophical perspective will lead to disaster.
