Like Col Nathan Jessup in A Few Good Man, The mainstream left( Singer but also a certain US President and his minions in the media) are just dying not only say aloud about their views on forced depopulation but also implement their Final Solution.

Someone just needs to lead them to say it publicly although most voters would not care since they would assume we conservatives would be offed first yet in reality it would be the non-produces THEM who would be immediately eliminated.

We work, they consume. We have a function they don’t.

Let’s hope his genetic line ends with him.

I guess we're safe enough there, as long as he sticks to bestiality, which he recommends for everyone.

Typical misogynist.
Only women are responsible for procreation.

This attitude is prevalent in virtually ALL population data and discussions will not end well for women.

An American SUV requires 44,000 gallons of water to produce it.

What? Are they shipping it off-planet? Last I heard, the hydrological cycle still functioned. That 44K gallons is still here on earth.

He's right about the tipping point. We are almost at the point where the forces of nature start to kick in significantly and the temperature curve rolls over and starts an obvious decline http://www.drroyspencer.com/latest-global-temperatures/ At that point the greenhouse gas "crisis" will be over and the tower of catastrophic warming babble will lean heavily then topple.

Might've been a reasonably balanced conference. It's hard to take the temperature from a possibly heavily slanted writeup, but at least two of the speakers were spot-on.

Earlier at the conference, Karolinska Institute Professor of International Health, Hans Rosling, clearly demonstrated (as opponents of population control have also contended for decades) that falling fertility is related to declines in infant mortality and to rising affluence. He also conceded that fears of a population “explosion” are grossly exaggerated and the world’s population will likely peak at about 9 billion, and then start to fall.

Harvard School of Public Health’s Alicia Yamin also said that the original population explosion proponent, Thomas Malthus, was wrong. “Human beings are more than just consumers” she said. They have “capacity for reason,” and are “active agents” able to solve problems.

But then the story reverts back to party line propaganda.

The problem, a number of speakers identified, is overconsumption by the world’s wealthiest. “One third of the food that is produced in the world today is wasted, “ said Osotimehin. “So sometimes it is not about what is available, it is about the politics distribution and it is about the politics of access.”

How's that for a galloping non-sequiter. The "one third of the world's food is wasted" is a conventional, and probably true, estimate. But that has nothing to do with the politics of distribution and the politics of access. It has to do with historically low food prices in the developed countries, which leads to careless waste, and to inadequate transportation, storage, and home refrigeration in the poorer countries.

Either they don't know what they are talking about, or they are lying.

An excellent summary of the left in one sentence.

Why does it always seem that people who call themselves ‘ethicists’ invariably have an ethical framework themselves that would be right at home in an Einsatzgruppe?

I think those who advocate such radical depopulation schemes should set the leadership example.

Mister Singer, when are you going to then eat the gun? Don’t give me that line that you still have so much “work” to do. To prove your “moral superiority”, you must set the ultimate example, and do it now. Off yourself.

Start a peasants’ repopulating campaign. Young American women of U.S. culture, start your baby-making engines, and practice a code of silence for your husbands and boyfriends (no government involvement)!

The thing that always gets me with these atheist "ethicists" is why they think the environment has any more meaning than does human life. If the entire universe is a meaningless coincidence, then why does the earth or the environment or "nature" suddenly become so "sacred" that humanity must be destroyed in order to save it?

Why save a meaningless coincidence?

This is what “zero-sum” thinking about the economy produces - a fixed-pie mentality, its’ all about class warfare man, and the supposed need for “big global plans” from control freaks like this jerk.
