Uh...no. Slow news day at the Irish Times?

A bit of research would have disclosed the past 400 year trend in solar activity which looks like this:

Now, if they are saying we're in for a repeat of the Maunder Minimum, they'd better have more than a few pathological liar "climate scientists" to back it up.

We need to pump up as much CO2 as we can as fast as we can.

And that still won’t help.

What’s the activity for the last 10-12 years? And years forward, what do you predict? That’s what I’m interested in. We already know the mid to recent past actvity.

I’m 55. I’ll die in at least another 50 years if not sooner. Hasta la vista.

Barry and his ‘RATS are going to have all of us living in caves again pretty soon so another ice age would make it like some kind of cool “retro” thing. Clone a few wooly mammoths and we’ll be in good shape.

I have a friend who purchased property and built her dream house in Maine. She believes that soon property in Maine will be highly sought after because of Global Warming. There won’t be any more of those 20 below zero nights and waking up to 3 feet of snow in your front yard.

I personally am more inclined to move to more southerly location.

With the tools we have available to us now, shouldn’t we be able to see far more sunspots than they could back in the 1600s?

They predict that by 2016 there

may

be no remaining sunspots, and the sun

may

stay spotless for several decades.
That's not a prediction.

That's a WAG.

A Dalton Minimum would be bad enough.

All according to the plan....

Reduce electricity production...limit coal and oil extraction....manufacturing capability going overseas.....

When Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn led the domestic terrorist group Weather Underground in 1969, a chance meeting led Army veteran Larry Grathwohl into joining the group. Grathwohl served as a courier, running messages between the group’s leadership (called the “Weather Bureau”) and individual cells that were to carry out attacks.

Grathwohl was also an informant for the FBI.

In an interview from the 1982 documentary No Place To Hide that recently surfaced, Grathwohl discussed what the Weathermen intended to do after overthrowing the U.S. government, including what they would do with those Americans who refused to embrace communism.

I asked, “Well what is going to happen to those people we can’t reeducate, that are diehard capitalists?” And the reply was that they’d have to be eliminated.

And when I pursued this further, they estimated they would have to eliminate 25 million people in these reeducation centers.

And when I say “eliminate,” I mean “kill.”

Twenty-five million people.

I want you to imagine sitting in a room with 25 people, most of which have graduate degrees, from Columbia and other well-known educational centers, and hear them figuring out the logistics for the elimination of 25 million people.

And they were dead serious

Nonsense! Everyone knows only humans and our evil desire to burn “fossil” fuels causes climate change! It’s all out fault! The sun is perfect and stable and would never ever change!
