Just watched two episodes of MONK - I'm looking for clues everywhere about any thing! There was a very, very stretch limo parked across the street and I'm trying to find clues of who was in the limo.

If you look at her career, she follows the typical beltway path of public office when Dems control (Clinton and Obama) and private (hedge funds, think tanks) when Reps control. (Bush).
Pretty much everybody in DC is wealthy, I’d venture that she is not unusual at all. My cousin’s husband is a lawyer who worked for Carter and Clinton, and was in private practice during Ford and Reagan/Bush. They have serious bucks.
Even CNBC had to admit that DC insiders, largely unhindered by the trading rules that apply to us commoners, make “market crushing” investment returns.
