Let's go back and look at this graph I posted earlier:
This graph shows variation from the background concentration of methane, in parts per BILLION. The largest variation is 40 parts per Billion, or .040 parts per million.
If the background concentration is 1.7 parts per Million, then an increase of .040 PPM is only only 2.35%.
I did that very quickly -- someone check my math. But if I didn't screw something up, this is truly hyperbole over something of no significant consequence.
EPA could charge you with improper solid waste disposal...
