Both events are terrible... but one of them probably has it coming in the real world.

I'm not justifying islamic terror. I'm saying in the real world ..... the magazine execs had it coming. They've insulted a lot more than just muslims through out their career. And they do it for profit. Some people call it karma. Some just say what goes around comes around. It is what it is....

Again... when you're ready to REALLY get rid of muslim extremists... we'll be very much on the same page. But I'm not about all the hysteria because these slimeballs got killed...

I've not one time justified today's killings. Murder is sin against God. Only Christ can justify persons from sin. I'm saying the execs probably had it coming in the real world. They have made a career and money by ridiculing and insulting people. Eventually that catches up with a person. That's life. And the idiots weren't even smart enough to successfully arm and protect themselves.

But when you decide to get serious about dealing with Islamic terror.... let me know. It is a war, and we have a clear advantage that we refuse to use.

You're problem is this.... some one says "he had it coming". You think that means it justifies what an individual does to them. People can have a lot of things "coming" to them. But that doesn't mean it justifies us when we hurt them.

I never justified killing. I said the magazine cartoonists probably had it coming. Interesting Bill Donohue is saying the same thing right now on Fox News. "He says we don't condone those who killed them... but the smart alecs need to show restraint too"

He says the cartoonists are are part at fault. He acknowledges that Christians would never do what these muslims have done... but he does think we have to exercise restraint. He says he is sick and tired of these libertine brats who just say "muslims you have to take it".

You need to put this guy on the list too. He's Catholic. He says we have to condemn what these muslim thugs did... and he hopes they pay a price for it. But we have to talk about what these magazines are doing too.

Freedom of speech can be messy at times, but it is essential to freedom.

True freedom means you are free to say what you want about a person... and the person is free to respond how they choose. That’s true freedom.

Freedom means I am free to respond to a persons actions as I see fit. Rule of law limits freedoms at some level. All laws limit our freedom at some level. I agree we need laws and the rule of law. But if we want to make this about freedom to say whatever we want about whoever we want, okay... but not okay to respond however we want to what they say. I dunno about that one.
