There is an eerie parallel between what we are witnessing in America and the curses the Lord promised Israel in Deuteronomy 28 should they stray from Him. I agree with you. The beginning of Judgement has arrived. And part of the judgment is the gangrenous cultural rot we are seeing.
"Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:"~Romans 1:24

I am going to hast to go read Deuteronomy 28 again. Yes, the parallels with what happened to ancient Israel and our nation are truly frightening.
America wanted a ‘king’ and elected a wicked, immoral and traitorous leader. “The Lord will bring you and the king whom you set over you to a nation which neither you nor your fathers have known, and there you shall serve other gods—wood and stone.”~36
Through abortion and the perverted brainwashing going on right now in public schools, entertainment and even in organizations like the scouts, the nation ‘consumes’ its young. “The sensitive and very refined man among you will be hostile toward his brother, toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the rest of his children whom he leaves behind, so that he will not give any of them the flesh of his children whom he will eat, because he has nothing left in the siege and desperate straits in which your enemy shall distress you at all your gates.”~54-55
The passages contain heavy reference to physical manifestations of illness overcoming the people. Our nation's people are not necessarily stricken with boils etc.. It is almost a disease of the mind taking over. Convincing the nation that what has been declared sin by God is now to being openly promoted and celebrated. Not all sickness effects the body, many times it is the mind. “The Lord will strike you with madness and blindness and confusion of heart.”~28

Now we have massive drought in California's farmland, Bird Flu in the Midwest and the potential extinction of the pollinating honeybee. The price of food is skyrocketing across the board. Short of God intervening, we both know there is no ‘hope’ or ‘change’.
Witnessing all of this makes you relate to Jeremiah, who wept as he witnessed the nation and people he loved rebel and reject the Lord so severely that the Lord had no other recourse but to take them to task. It is truly heartbreaking.
I was flipping channels about a year ago. I watched about 5 mins of an episode of this garbage show, titled "How I Met Your Mother."
To watch the narcissistic actors spew garbage, and the audience lap it up was gross and so disheartening. I thought to myself: "What has happened to people?"

Titus 1:15:
Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
The People can be salvaged and turned back to Godliness and be righteous in their actions and deeds.
All it takes is the right leader in the WH ,the army, and the will to do what needs to be done.
This doesn’t get solved politically.
The majority of parents will gladly return their kids to these schools in the fall. If they’re so upset about it, they should be banding together and looking for other options such as starting their own schools or homeschooling. They have a whole summer.
