You're looking at a flight that had just departed and reached operational ceiling, meaning it was full of fuel. From what I saw, the blackened area consisted of a fuselage with wings still attached. If bombed in flight, there'd be a large explosion due to fuel on board and I doubt the main wings would survive INTACT all the way to the ground.

Could have been a bomb but after seeing the tail section, I think structural failure caused the aircraft to split into a few pieces with the main fuselage w/wings left to burn upon slamming into the ground.

The Russians have talked to the Egyptian ATC and he has changed his story about stating that the pilot said they were having technical problems and were descending for an emergency landing.
