Based on the debris field and the fact that the Rooskies would love to blame ISIS for a number of reasons; I believe a son (or daughter) of I-slam blew up the plane with some sort of plastic explosive device.
Maybe Chechen, maybe a convert. I concur with you on the MANPADS.....an AA missile would have left a debris field similar to that of the plane shot down in Ukraine.
One thought however; what if there has been a vast improvement in the range of some of the new generation MANPADS and we have just seen that displayed in this instance? Just curious.
