It’s currently -14F in Barrow, Alaska... and it’s 2:00 in the afternoon there.

I was not discussing whatever the Atlantic might have been discussing. I was pointing out a data point. I never mentioned the North Pole. Please take your confusion elsewhere.

The heat wave has arrived for the region north of 80 degrees N latitude. The mean temperature for today is a balmy 3 degrees Fahrenheit. The Greenland ice sheet will probably be gone by the day is over.
