So, ask yourself was Donald right or was Vera right about this? First Vera turns down Bob Guccione's $1 million offer, and he starts to build a building around her house. Then the steel framework is torn down and Donald Trump offers her anywhere from $2-5 million for the property. She turns him down. Then the four year eminent domain battle in the courts. Finally Vera moves to California, and her grandson sell the house to Carl Icahn for $583,000.
