It would be a terrible tragedy if Russia conquered Turkey and annexed it./s

And Turkey is the military powerhouse that Russia fears, right?

Be careful what you wish for. Turkey remains a NATO country and under treaty we would be obliged to come to their aid if attacked or invaded.

The sooner Russia blows Turkey away, the better off we will all be.

It’s past time they were kicked out of NATO for cause. Their latest offense, trying to start WW III.

I wouldn’t bet my pension on that one, treaty or not.

I think the Russian would run out of troops trying to conquer Turkey. They can take care of themselves.

Kerry and his Plan B are nuts. Maybe Kerry should go to the front and show how brave he is.

Russia and Turkey have been enemies since before Peter The Great, and Russians, I’d guess, feel humiliated by their loss of prestige as a super power. I don’t think they’ll have trouble recruiting.

Not true! Kerry brokered a cease fire that due to start on Saturday. I laugh but I’ll probably cry.
