I hate doing peoples homework for them, the stories of his business losses have been in the news for months; his brand has suffered horribly, with major partners and sponsors turning their back on him over his immigration and other comments. For example: Dubai-based Landmark Group pulled all Trump home decor products at its 180 Lifestyle stores over his comments.

Bulent Kural, the general manager of Trump Towers in Istanbul, said his company “regrets and condemns” Trump’s call to ban Muslims from entering the U.S. The towers are another project for which Trump licensed his brand. “We are assessing the legal dimension of our relationship with the Trump brand,” a statement from Kural said with the implication a major deal for further development may be jeopardized.

In Dubai, Trump had a deal with multi-billion dollar Damac Properties to license his name and image for a housing project and two golf courses for an undisclosed sum. All images and connections to Trump have been removed.

Macy's said it would stop selling Trump-branded clothing at its stores. NBCUniversal and Univision will stop airing the Trump-owned Miss U.S.A. and Miss Universe pageants. And the PGA of America pulled the 2015 Grand Slam of Golf from Trump's golf course in Rancho Palos Verdes. This is just a handful.

All good points as far as the business stuff. I was thinking just celebrity and notoriety, as in ‘is he more or less well known now than a year ago?’ I mean, how could he possibly not be? I ‘m not saying that was his purpose. It could be, though.
