Happening around lots of the continent. There has been a change in who
is doing building construction etc in the last 20 yrs or so.
My two very best friends are African Americans. I love them like brothers. They are the most decent of men and I would go to the wall for either of them. Sadly though, and they would say the same thing, all is not well in the AA community. And while to some degree, racism plays a role, with more than a half-century of “help,” we/they are faced with ever more serious problems, with crime at the top of the list. They have been sold a bill of goods by the Democrats, and thanks to their overall lack of education, they are unable to see that to be really “free,” they need to break the bonds of servitude to the Democrats. Just look at Dr. Carson! With the deck stacked against him, his mother raised him well and she's been rewarded with a stellar offspring, so it has absolutely nothing to do with intellect, but rather the family. And the last 8 years with Obama as president, things have grown worse not better for AA’s. So for me, Trump is right. Stop all immigration so we can get our own house in order and to prevent the needless killing that will come from both Mexico and the Middle East. It simply isn't fair to bring more people here, most of whom don't want to assimilate and any number who just want to kill us, while AA’s languish, unable to build successful families and be productive.
Stereotyping may sometimes be an accurate description of whatever the subject nay be, but doing so says nothing about the individual. And in our society the individual is what counts.
Newark NJ still hasn’t recovered to its pre-riot population from the 60s - and there is no reason why it should. That is why these places (and our federal government is complicit in this) want the borders left open and no questions asked when illegals want freebies, register anchor babies for “free” public school, etc.
The fact that taxpayers are on the hook for these costs mean nothing to them; the fact that taxpayers are already on the hook for much of the cities’ costs already meant nothing to them.
If we didn’t constantly bring in foreigners to suppress wages, the country would focus on fixing the ills in the black community to assimilate them. At this point there is no pressing need for them to do so.
Here in the northeast their jobs were stolen by legal immigrants (since I can’t believe large companies hire illegals); our cities are becoming much more Hispanic now. Like whites, the blacks are having less children.

I didn’t say anything about AA. I was commenting on Chicago Democrats moving.
I agree. It’s not a blanket statement about blacks, I to have met, worked with, go to church with many Americans who do not share the same skin pigmentation as I do.
BUT - why the hell do I have to tolerate (and others make excuses for) the crime, vulgar language, drugs etc that “seem” to show up when the demographics change here in my little city.
I have seen this several times in my life. So I know it’s not my imagination and the statistics prove it.
On a more personal-direct level... My middle school aged child was beat down badly at school this year. The perps reason was because “I hate that cracker”. I heard all kinds of excuses from the school about this incident after I offered to file a complaint with the police, including “ the family was just escaping Chicago recently”. I pulled him out for a week and filed a complaint with the district about his safety in the school.
Huh? Really?? So we have to accept and put up with beat downs because the perp left the inner city. Only to have said perp bring that culture here.

I tell my children to treat everyone the way you would want to be treated, and I practice this also with or without my children by my side.
Jesus said turn the other cheek, didn’t say anything about being punching bags because of skin color.

We have all sinned horribly in the eyes of God. To help people though we are to do as Jesus said - take the beam out of our own eye first, by recognizing our own sin. And we are told in God’s Word to show no favor in judgment.
Violent crime and property crime are much more commonly committed by the poor, and African-Americans are more likely to be poor. But treachery, including of the criminal kind, isn’t limited to just the poor. I grew up in a wealthy, virtually all-white community, and there was plenty of it there that I witnessed. I could hardly even begin to go into it all, and don’t have the time to do so. I’ll mention two things. First, how a lawyer who bought our house after my father died went back on his promise to my mother to split what was saved on closing costs since no attorney was needed. And second is the two automotive repair garages in that wealthy town which were known for cheating people, particularly women. I believe one cheated my widowed mother, and I’m quite certain the other did cheat her, and tried to cheat me. On one occasion, that garage installed an old exhaust system on her car, which she discovered not long afterward when she took it to another garage. And on my car, it was only around a year old when the alternator went on it the day after I’d left it there overnight to get a mirror fixed. But I didn’t pay them anything for it because I took it back to the dealer as the alternator was well within the warranty. That garage was actually investigated by a local t.v. news station around that time. And the owner was also someone who ran for a town office in this wealthy community. Where does cheating widows and the fatherless come in for seriousness of sin? And, like I said, I saw all sorts of treacherous dealings in that community, and know of more among middle and upper-class people I’ve known outside of it.
