I sat last night and watched German state-run TV, and they did a four-minute ‘hit’ piece on Trump. Made him sound like a nut-case. So toward the end of the piece...he did the talk from a month ago about there might be point where the US leaves NATO. Then they found some foundation guy to come on after that to say it’d create all these woes and sorrows for peace in the region.
The thing is...these journalists for German state-run TV have been begging for years that NATO end, and selling the pubic on the evil American military machine. Here Trump is....giving them the full deck of cards and saying there’s no reason much to continue NATO and they flip back to some need for NATO?
I just started laughing. It was 5th grade journalism at best.
