That would sure make me doubt that one of the few things. God help you.
If she’s worried, I’m happy.
I am suspecting I failed to convey my meaning properly.
I’m not understanding what you are trying to tell me.
I am agreeing with the title of the thread article of the statement by Ginsberg that “everything will indeed be up for grabs if Trump wins.” She made that statement, and I actually happen to agree with it. One of the few times I would agree with her about anything.
Not sure what you are doubting about my statement.
And yes, thank you, please, God help me, but that which you offered as seeming blessing did not come across in the written word and confusing context as being particularly friendly.
I was asking for God to bless all of us, to deliver us all from the evil which besets us. (Please note my tagline)
Please clarify if I have gravely misunderstood YOU!
“Everything will be up for grabs”
Not that there’s anything wrong with that!
Hey. I’m voting for Trump, make no mistake. But he ain’t God, ain’t even Moses, and he won’t lead us into the promised land.
On the other hand, he ain’t Satan, and he ain’t Hillary, He’ll do.
Yep, Hippies/Commies in the 60’s invaded the institutes of higher learning and now they are the tenured assholes destroying the minds of generation after generation.
Oh. Bud, we are on the same page. There are a lot of things that really turn me off about Trump. Mostly his low-class behavior during the primaries.
I don't doubt his competence. He's done things that Hillary couldn't even begin to understand. She sold her soul to hell in the unholy, greed based contract she made with a handsome, charismatic fellow whose coat tails were her taxi.
I don't know if we can trust Trump. He has a very sketchy record, in business as well as his political history. But he talks like he's been reading my mind.
Bottom line. I hope I don't get caught in the crossfire in Cleveland.
I'll do my best to keep them out of my suburb. And I'd vote for a mangy old sewer-dwelling racoon before I'd vote for anybody with a (D) after their name on the ballot.
OK, please forgive me if I did not understand. Explain what you think the Justice intended to mean and what you mean when you agree.
idioms.thefreedictionary.com — up for grabsup for grabs
1. Fig. available for anyone; not yet claimed. The election is up for grabs. Everything is still very chancy. I don't know who will get the promotion. It's up for grabs.2. Fig. in total chaos. This is a madhouse. The whole place is up for grabs. When the market crashed, the whole office was up for grabs.
I am suspecting you did fail to convey your meaning(to me) properly.
I believe The Associate Justice is an educated idiot and nothing will be up for grabs when Trump gains the nomination and wins the Presidency. If Trump does not win, our national sovereignty will be up for grabs.
Yeah, right! And long live Ma Bell I guess! We would all have AT&T Picturephone Mod I's on our desks and be sitting around tables at the community center, discussing articles and op-ed's with each other that we clipped from newspapers. The 1982 Consent Decree against AT&T brought us into the 21st Century.
AT&T's commercial service in Pittsburgh started on June 30, 1970 with 38 Picturephones at eight companies, at a lease rate of $160 per month ($947/month in 2012 dollars) for the service, which provided for 30 minutes of videocalling time per month, with extra minutes costing 25 cents each.At the time of its first launch, AT&T foresaw a hundred thousand Picturephones in use across the Bell System by 1975 . However, by the end of July 1974, only five Picturephones were being leased in Pittsburgh, and U.S.-wide there were only a few hundred, mostly in Chicago.
It is a sad choice we have, but it is a definite choice
The whole idea of a Supreme Court Justice speaking out like this - it’s appalling.
LOL! Thank you for the clarification of your meaning. I see what you are saying now. I was taking the article headline to mean that from HER perspective, yes, all she cares about would be up for grabs if Trump takes office. From OUR (FReepers’) perspective, it is as you say: we have expectation of stability and a return to order.
Clear communications can be a very tenuous operation sometimes!
