I walked into the one where I used to shop a couple of months ago. It was quite dead, and this was on a Saturday. Contrast this with Walmart. If I went on a Saturday I'd have to park 1/4 mile away.
If I owned stock in this company I would surely dump it.
Yep. The gadar needle has jumped off the scale.
If I walk into Target it’s to purchase one or two of their “lost leaders”. And lately I’ve notice sparse crowds and not so full shelves. I’ve also noticed employees jumping all over themselves offering help to find something.
That’s the sad part. The employees will lose jobs and you can see the fear in their eyes.
The employees are not allowed to say “Merry Christmas” and they won’t allow the Salvation Army bell ringers out front.
Great! Thanks for that information. Now if we could just find (or start) alternatives for the NFL...I miss football!
Easy to find a parking spot? You still go there? We went to Atwood’s last night. They have everything you really need, clothes, food, oil, chainsaws, welders and so forth.
Target and their poor share holders are reaping a huge dose of hubris and stupid. Good. Maybe they’ll start learning to leave things alone.
I have substituted several local coffee shops for Starbuck’s in the cities I regularly travel to or through. Now, if I could just get mrs riverdawg to stop shopping at Target ...
Add Hollywood to that list.
I wouldn’t shop there if someone paid me...
Any women taking young children shopping at Target should be investigated for child abuse...
Good for you target! Keep running off your customers! lol
Couldn’t happen to a more deserving company.
SKG, Spielberg, Katzenberg, and Geffen (DreamWorks Studios).
I missed the story about Macy’s firing the security guy because of his religion. These corporations are out of control. Our country is out of control.

Get used to it.
Part of the long-term Leftist agenda is to redefine “corporation” to assign them certain social obligations that supersede shareholder value.
May want to add Apple Computer?
Because there went their bonuses.
Karma is a beeyotch. This all started 15-18 years ago when Target threw the Salvation Army off its properties due to complaints by its gay employees. Then they had that data breach not long ago. Now, three strikes. They're out.
With the closure of so many K Marts as well, Wllly World loves it.
Excellent!
Dunkin doughnuts. Coffee is much better than starbutts.
