Good thoughts, and I guess the reason there are so many kinds of Christmas movies is that everyone who wants to tell the story, does it in his own way using his own experiences as a compass.
It’s bigger than all of us and it’s bigger than just one day. The real story is that it’s TRUE!

I hated that movie It’s A Wonderful Life until I read the behind the scenes story. Seems that Jimmy Stewart was going through what we now call PTSD while filming that movie. It was the first movie he made after the war and the stress of combat reflected in his role; there’s more to the story but that’s the basics. It’s now up there with A Christmas Carole starring Alistair Sims. I heard that George C. Scott did an okay job but the B&W original still is my fav.
