I got stumped on the very first question; “Pick the genre of music you like best.” I couldn’t choose. I was hoping to get at least two or three choices. What I like depends on my mood and the circumstance. It was like being asked what my favorite Color, Candy, or Currency was. Nice idea for a forum though. You can’t go wrong contemplating the music that you like now, or have enjoyed before in various circumstances of the past.

Mozart: Sinfonia Concertante in E-flat, K. 364, second movement

Stolen by Michel Legrand for "The Windmills of Your Mind" in 1967. He even used the same key (C minor).

I wish they’d had a choice for “all of the above” or multiple choices, but guess they didn’t know how to do that. LOL!

I like all kinds too. Well, not rap or hip-hop. But I do like the rest. Except opera. But all the rest.

Have you ever heard of the Driftwoods? I saw them perform at a dear friend’s wedding, and I thought they were terrific!

LOL! Just slid right in there and nabbed it. It was a total surprise when I saw it.
Yep, it was a close one tonight.

Y’all had some sunny weather too? Cool! It does make for a good day just seeing sunshine, even if it’s cold outside. We haven’t had sunshine but a couple of times the past two weeks and it was a beautiful sight today. Clouds come back tomorrow, then it’ll be sunny for a while - - and cold.

Moonlight Serenade by Glenn Miller is one of my favorite. Lots of Clarinets for the melody and soft brass for the whole notes.
I Can’t Get Started, by Bunny Beringer is another from that era. Lots of trumpets.

Here’s a nice bluegrass band (The Driftwoods) that I saw perform a few months ago, I thought they were terrific, but would love to hear what other bluegrass lovers think.

Going well so far, thanks. We're still wet and windblown but tomorrow is supposed to be better.

“The list does not include ragtime piano”

I enjoy all types of jazz, and that old easy Listening “muzak” with lush strings. The Jackie Gleason compositions for lovers, Julie London torch music, social dance music etc...

YUCK! A trip to the oral surgeon? I feel for ya!
Being knocked out is the only way to go. Been there, done that. Would not have wanted to be awake.

I peeked in on the eagles a bit this afternoon too. Babies are growing fast, soon we’ll have more hatched, and it won’t be long before the northern eagles lay. Glad they haven’t laid at Decorah yet. Brrr, that snowy nest!

... The list does not include ragtime piano.
Nor does it include swing or rock-a-billy.
