“Preemptive self-defense”. Do they have second-strike capability? Because they sure seem to be geared to first-strike.
This sounds an awful lot like an ambush. Are they prepared to follow through? Donald Trump is famous for his counter-punch, and it has been remarkably effective. He has been extremely fortunate, or highly astute, when choosing his enemies.
Or if they make the mistake of choosing to become his enemy.
