Try 2 Thess. 2
1 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you,
2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.
3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed...
Paul here writes of both “the coming” and “our gathering together” [”rapture” to use the vernacular] as twin elements of a single, greater event: “the day of Christ.” The two occur as parts of the greater event, in the order stated, and proximate in time to each other. Whether that means “Christmas and New Years” proximate, or “Christmas Eve and Christmas Day” proximate depends, I suppose, on the actual duration of “the day of Christ.”
Paul nowhere teaches the “any moment, now” view popularized by the pernicious misquoters of 1 Thess. 5:2 who always stop before they get to verse 4 lest their chicanery be made evident:
1 But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you.
2 For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.
3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.
4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.
Paul, here, writes to “brethren” — the saved, the church, followers of Christ; and he uses the allegory of a “thief in the night” to describe how the coming of the day of the Lord will seem. BUT — and this is the undoing of the deception — in verse 4 he clearly affirms that believers will not be taken by surprise, saying “you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.” Paul makes a clear delineation between “you brethren” who will not be surprised by the Day of the LORD, and “they” (v.3) who will be overtaken as by a thief.
Paul gives further teaching as to the timing of our being gathered to Christ in 1 Thess. 4:15-17
15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.
16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
There is a certainty of sequence given, here:
A shout
A trumpet
Resurrection of “the dead in Christ” (deceased believers)
“Rapture” of “we [believers] who are alive and remain”
Paul taught the Corinthians similarly concerning these things in 1 Cor. 15:51 & 52:
51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed —
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
Here, again,
A trumpet — here revealed to be “the last trumpet”
Raising “the dead” (again, deceased believers)
“We” are changed. (obviously believers, since in using “we” Paul includes himself)
Paul nowhere relates an alternate sequence, and a thorough reading of The Revelation of St John will reveal that “the last trumpet” of 1 Cor. 15:51 can be none other than the Seventh Trumpet of Revelation 11:15.
15 Then the seventh angel sounded [his trumpet]: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!”
Now, this is very interesting in terms of trying to get the chronology of Revelation. John relates in 11:19 that he sees certain things, and this verse is a scriptural “bookmark” so take note:
Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.
The Temple in Heaven opened and The Ark visible within it
On Earth:
— lightning
— thundering
— noises
— an earthquake
— great hail
There is a sidebar story in chapters 12 thru 14 about the war of Satan against God’s redemption and of his machinations against God’s elect, and of their final victory culminating in the harvest of the Earth; first the harvest of the righteous by “One like the Son of Man,” then the harvest of the grapes of wrath by “another angel,” who threw them into the winepress of the Wrath of God.
Chapter 15 begins with John testifying as to what has happened to the harvested righteous:
2 And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass...
John then returns to his “bookmark” from 11:19, for we read in 15:5
5 After these things I looked, and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened.
That was the first detail from John’s “bookmark” in 11:19
Now, in Rev. 15:6, John gives some depth to his “bookmark”:
He relates that, between seeing the Temple standing open, and seeing catastrophe on Earth, something else was going on that produced those great cataclysms:
6 And out of the temple came the seven angels having the seven plagues
All of chapter 16 relates the consequences of the Seven Angels as they each pour out — one by one — the Seven Bowls of the Wrath of God. And as the Seventh Angel pours out the Seventh Bowl we see some familiar things:
17 Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!”
18 And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake...
21 And great hail from heaven fell upon men...
— Rev. 16:17-18,20
There’s the rest if that list from the “bookmark”
— lightning
— thundering
— noises
— an earthquake

So, the chronology John is relating comes to chapter 11, verse 19, John interjects some other relevant backstory in chapters 12-14, and then what John wrote about in 11:19 is expanded upon in Rev. 15:5 through the end of chapter 16.
John now interjects a sidebar about Mystery Babylon in chapters 17 and 18 before he takes up the chronology, again, in chapter 19, which culminates in The Glorious Appearing of Christ:
11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself.
13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.
15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
ALL of this romping through Revelation may seem a little irrelevant to your original question, but it is necessary to show the relationship of The Seventh Trumpet of Rev. 11:15 to Christ’s glorious appearing in Rev. 19:11.
The seventh — and last — trumpet sounds in 11:15
The dead are raised and the living righteous “harvested” in 14:16
The righteous — both the resurrected dead who died in Christ, and those who were still living at the time of the “harvest” — are seen gathered together with Christ in 15:2
This chronology from Revelation recapitulates what Paul taught at Corinth and Thessalonica, as he restated in his letters to them.

In his acceptance speech Obama even says, “’Change’ (common commie codeword) has come to America”. Such a proclamation obviously goes well beyond the normal transition of power following a presidential election victory. Change has come to America??

I was perusing an article on this subject and one line jumped out at me. It said that the current atmosphere in the United States reminds them of Mao's Cultural Revolution. A chilling thought.
I had heard of the different sides of "protestors" coming off the same buses. Our media sucks. They will continue to push their narrative. Everyone should have heard of this happening; but, they have an agenda and the fact that we are all being played, doesn't fit their narrative.
