Your childlike sense of trust is inspiring. But don’t doubt for a minute that they would hesitate to bring in people from any other islands in the Caribbean. The Puerto Rican government and the US government AND the US military LOVE the term “refugee”. They want to use it as often as possible.
Were you aware that there are no visa requirements between the UK, France, The Netherlands and the United States, and that these people from the British Virgin Islands, St. Martin/St. Maarten can come and go as they please, anyway, hurricane or not?
