If this story was completely fabricated, it falls under the “actual malice” standard for libel against a public figure. Moore could sue the socks off the Post. If nothing else, it would expose the utter ethical bankruptcy of those whores.

That is a much better sourced article, obviously. But if I had tape recordings of WP bribe offers, and be playing those over and over to everyone I could find in the media before I got arkancided.
I agree, the claim needs a follow up. But we both know that probably wouldn’t amount to an indictment either, because proving its validity may prove difficult, to say the least.
