And why is additional heat causing deserts? Heat doesn’t make deserts, lack of humidity does. Heat goes up and in general more water is in the air. But in studying the underlying forces of societies, nations, markets and nature, their mental antennae have trouble detecting signal from noise.
Leftist are intelligent, but juggling more than a few variables in their brains gives them headaches. Then again, the aroma of juicy research grants and academic boondoggles tends to reinvigorate their mental powers.
In politics, they are overzealous regulators who lack the wisdom to leave things alone. Rather than focus on long term results, they overdose the patient with short term remedies which do irreparable long term harm. Their short-sighted prescriptions eventually lead to system dysfunction, chaos, and lawlessness.
I take comfort that most men and women who have built something on their own (entrepreneurs) or spent time exploring systems (engineers) recognize the folly of Leftist propaganda.
