First, thank you for your comments. It is unfortunate that so many freepers waste so much energy trying to punish any who have erred (as none of us is perfect, we have all made bad judgments one way or another in our lives). I appreciate those, like you, who recognize we need to focus on where we are today and move forward instead of trying to tear down someone for past “sins” and distract us from the current good works. There will probably be further comments deprecating yours and these comments, I don’t see any purpose served in attempting to respond to the closed minded.

That Brietbart article is misleading. Levin did support Trump in the general election, and in the closing days made precisely the argument that he’s making now: Clinton is just too terrifying to vote for. “Never-Trumper” was a lable Brietbart stuck on Levin.
Levin’s critique of Trump dealing with Roger Stone was 100% dead on. Stone is an absolute sleaze-ball, and I’m betting now that Trump wishes he never met Stone.
I have absolutely no idea how you can rationalize to yourself that a guy who willfully helped Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump for months, is now a guy we should pay ANY attention to.
Just what does a guy have to do, to cause you to grasp he’s not a solid guy?
If Obama starts saying Trump is okay, are you going to tell us not to criticize him any longer too?

Levin spent a full year attempting to destroy any respect for Trump. After giving reason after reason after reason why Trump was a scumbag, he finally voted for him. Never mind the number of whipsawed listeners at that point who had been taught to detest Trump, and couldn’t do it by then.

I must admit I was not a “true believer” when he came down the escalator, but I was never anti-Trump. Just had another candidate I preferred, and had some concerns based on Trump’s history (he donated more to Democrats until about 2010, comments over the years...). I recognized as a businessman he did what he had to do and didn’t hold it against him. But as the primary progressed I did become a Trump supporter - having to defend his sign in my yard against my very vocal D neighbor. I agree that if Mrs. Bill had won, this country was irretrievably lost. Trump was probably the only candidate who could give her campaign the fighting response needed, which McCain and Romney failed to provide in those elections.
Bottom line today, though, is using any support we can get. If a crony capitalist or globalist “inside the wire of our camp” acts against MAGA, then we need to fight that.
Actually, the Constitution does not say how many judges need to be on the Supreme Court, just that there be a SCOTUS.
We had a guy inside the wire in 2016, and we’re not going to let him off now.

Levin wasn’t someone new to Conservatism. He knew the threat to our nation Clinton represented. It didn’t matter.
His ego was so over-inflated, he couldn’t swallow his pride and get behind Trump in May of 2016.
He continued to bash Trump for months after that knowing full well Hillary was the only alternative.
This is a guy you want for an ally. Oh hell no!

I know it’s tough this early in the morning, but try and pay attention...if you think this guy has the ability to influence voters, then consider whom he was attempting to get them to vote for; was it Hilary Clinton? or someone else...point being, before Trump secured the nomination, what did it matter whom he was pushing, if not Clinton; was that not the whole point, to deny Clinton the election...?
or are you saying that had Cruz or Rand Paul secured the nomination, all would be lost, and Clinton might as well have been president...? that Trump was the one and only option to defeat Clinton...?
