but I am still confused about what you are asking.
Since all of this started, I’ve often thought that what’s really going on might be that Ford insisted upon anonymity from the start, never wanted to testify, but then was outed by someone.
Since she was publicly identified, I think it’s about 50/50 that all this drama and maneuvering we’ve observed could be Feinstein and other Dims working with Ford’s activist lawyers to try and convince her to testify, knowing that her anonymous accusations (even with a polygraph) have little or no chance of derailing Kavanaugh. She might be one highly agitated woman who wants it all to just go away.
And if they never convince her to testify, then they would still have caused a significant delay.
