Enough about your feet. Fix your own countries. We’re busy trying to fix ours.

Dang, EinNYC, you nailed it !

(I would only add that Roxanna Orellana has ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHT to enter the United States).

The one that caught my attention:

21 year old, pregnant, pushing a toddler in a stroller.

No mention of daddy or daddies. If she gets here, who does she expect to pay for her and her kids’ upkeep? US.

Did none of them think it through before walking away?
It’s past time for these countries to start supporting their own people, vs offloading them onto wealthier nations who have no apparent use for them.

...The best fix would be to advise governments south of the border on how best to develop and stop being crapperholes...

We have not only been advising them, we have shown them by example how it works.

We have also given them money to implement what we have shown them. It has not worked.

Hey y'all, it's time to show compassion!

We need to call on volunteers to step up to the plate, charter some buses, and swarm down there to give a free ride to anyone ready to go back south to where they came from.

They shouldn't be forced to walk all the way home. It should be made as easy as possible for them to go back.

Bring plenty of food & water, that will only be served after each bus makes good tracks south.

If too few takers at first, then step up the level of charity.

Promise them each US$50 cash the moment they get off the buses at their hometowns.

Mount a grill cooking their national dishes in the back doors of some buses so that the breeze blows thru it as they pass by, going up & down past the column, back & forth, back & forth. Mmm! Yummy. Smell what's cookin.

We can work to solve this when everyone acknowledges the problem originates IN THE COUNTRY OF ORIGIN.

We need to acknowledge and address the conditions IN THE COUNTRIES OF ORIGIN that are driving people to leave.

Little Nell struggles on clutching her thin shawl woven of nettles by her blind grandmother in her tiny blistered hand. Wolves stalking the caravan howl with hunger. Cleverly with fiendish cunning they start separating out the weak and the old. What chance does our orphan Little Nell have against such vagaries of fate and nature? Yet onward she treads. Stopping only briefly to wipe the blood away from her newspaper bound feet. The wolverines she agreed to smuggle as payment for her passage nip and snarl against her Consumptive chest. She would bear it with nary a whimper. But the flatulence. Oh the flatulence. Wolverines have every reason to be so ill tempered if their diet produces that stench she thinks to herself. Thinking of this makes her realize her own hunger. It has been 4 days since she had a thimble full of muddy water and 3 candy corns. Despair tugs at her. But she will not give up. Not unless those vultures mistake her for carrion.

This venue is perfect for training and for this level of national threat. Rotate the troops in and out. Be great for the local economies if they have to stay a while.

I'd say it's an even bet if this isn't stopped, millions resembling the recent waves of Syrians into Europe could very well happen here or be attempted from multiple countries to our south. Trump will hold the line. I'd guess he has no choice.

The Mexicans knew they were coming. They should have been stopped at Mexico's southern border. But it was a cheesy ToysRUs barrier. And I guess Mexico never heard of CS or tear gas, rubber bullets etc. Thanks Mexico for once again allowing our country to be attacked by large mobs of lawless, literally dumping your endless problems on the American people to deal with it.

We have been telling them how to develop for most of a century now. They refuse to do so because it would require a restructuring of their totally corrupt societies. The small oligarchies who control these countries, in some cases a few families, would have to give up immense leverage wealth and power. They are not about to do it.

Just like Haiti. The supposedly poverty stricken country has more capital than all the financial aid ever sent to them by all the nations put together. So why are they still a primitive sh*thole? That’s what the rulers want, and we don’t have the integrity to call them out, or send the Marines back in. Haiti could be fixed in a year if their rulers wanted to do so. Likewise the Central American banana republics we are dealing with today.

For years, we’ve acknowledged that these s-hole countries have extreme problems. We’ve sent boatloads of US taxpayer money to their governments to try to assist them in upgrading their standard of living. If it didn’t get to the “immigrants”, that isn’t our problem. And we can’t go to every one of these holes and try to establish a democracy when they clearly prefer dictatorships (if they didn’t, they would have had the fortitude to solve their internal problems and overthrow their rulers years ago). President Trump said that we are going to look at severely curtailing the flow of US aid to those countries who refuse to follow laws. With instability all over the world now, it’s every country for itself.

Right? I’m tuning up my tiny violin right now. God how these people infuriate the hell out of me. “Demanding’’ to be let into our country simply because they feel they have the right. They f’ed up their own countries and rather than fix they figure “Oh well, we’ll just demand that the racist gringos let us into their country’’.
