I think you are right, Read that couple days ago. They are complaining that they don’t have enough coverage. But that is not what the notice claims. Already it is deceptive...
Totally agree....
p
You can't make an omelet....
The overall 100 years of Federal and State Forrest criminal MISMANAGEMENT never makes the news excepting from PDJT, so we take what we can get.
“Do not expect this story will get much coverage. Especially in California.”
WRONG!
And this is but one of a couple dozen MSM stories linking the Camp Fire to PG&E power lines.
PG&E has become the victim of money-grabbing management. You have the San Bruno mini-holocaust caused by a poorly maintained gas transmission line where the ensuing fire burned down an entire neighborhood. Then down in Carmel, they blew up a house while “lining” the natural gas lines in the whole city. When that lawsuit was concluded, PG&E had to repave (rather than just patch up) nearly all the streets in the City. We have the nicest new street in front of our home there. We caught them moving our gas meter because it had been located under a kitchen window ( since 1940 w/o incident). When we refused to allow them to put it where they wanted to ( because it would have blocked access to an exterior door), they relented and said that they would put an extension line on the gas regulator to get it away from the windows. True to their incompetence, they have never put the vent extension on. If it weren’t for the fact that they ARE our public utility, I’d favor letting them go bankrupt, but with all this damage and the lawsuits, you can bet that rates will be going up ( along with fire insurance) here.
No blood left, just ashes.
All thanks to the idiotic policies of bleeding-heart liberals!
Yep.
It’s another example of a dishonest, corrupt and ideological driven media not reporting the facts. They keep the people in the dark on so many things. Bastards.
As well he should, he is a kookoo bird
Will he also take heat for the fact that his speed train routes lies within the fire area? Is this a land grab?
This is the area where Dianne Feinstein makes straight across trades of worthless Mohave Desert land for working gold mines.
Brown. Jerry Brown.
Not PGE

Regulated utility monopolies have a legal obligation to serve customers in their service territories. Their profits are capped by regulators. Any prudent expenses they incur for maintenance, safety and reliability they can pass along to ratepayers. The regulators determine what are prudent costs. Thats how the laws work in just about every state.
His aura smiles and never frowns....
Of course, But needing more insurance is not mentioned in the notice. Only updating repairs of infrastructure.
Absolutely.
Not sure what you mean by the insurance comment. Most regulated electrical utilities are self insured. They have insurance, but the deductibles are so high they effectively dont have insurance when they pay a claim .
In Arizona regulated electric utilities are not obligated to pay claims except in the case of gross negligence or wilfull misconduct.
Ahhhh how predictable—globalist shill—Moon Beam Asshaticus—known for waddling around with his head up his rear—vainly spewing blather as he attempts to yell from his anal channel—serves yet again another plate of irrational pig poop up as cabal global wisdom. It’s amazing the earth doesn’t open up and swallow him whole in sheer embarrassment that he remains waddling around offensively loose.
So he claims his excuse for chronic idiocies is that his brain never gets untwisted from his yoga pretzels?
