I think trashing Trump is counter-productive. He has simply been boxed in by a much, much stronger, more numerous force. At the same time, removing the ridiculous savior-level pinning of all our hopes on one lone man (an idea which he himself does have a hand in promoting) is also cathartic and probably necessary. A step in the grief process.
Trump was not the figure so many wanted him to be...or even the figure he tried to portray himself as in some ways. But in the end he was the wrong type for the times. He is a builder, a businessman, a wheeler and dealer and a NewYork loudmouth. Whereas we needed a destroyer, a wrecking ball, Teddy R’s soft voice and big stick - a big stick that broke things in a big way.
Before you can build new, you have to first destroy the thing - in this case the government class and the media/social elite - that is devouring you. Trump is not the breaker of things, the destroyer, that is needed now. A great and tireless man who in the right time and place would accomplish amazing things. But he is not the wrecking ball that must first run rampant and wildly through Washington D.C. before great things can happen.
The plan is simple. Deny Trump (and us) the wall, then try and convince Trump voters to abandon him over the lack of a wall.
Trump's our only hope. Anyone the DNC/GOPe puts up for president will work for the Deep State, and then we're toast.
This has been a very Illuminating thread. I think it is been also good for all of us Freepers to vent hopefully all of us are still friends. I will not hold anything against anyone. I think a couple things to think about here are that President Trump is targeted by the globalists enmasse... that means both parties ...that means Soros... that means Steyer... that means the Koch brothers... that means the Rothschilds, Etc... the Clintons, Podestas, Obama...s all of them. Many on “our side” Republicans are also in this group. They will not stop just because President Trump is no longer president after let’s say two terms. They will go after him to bankrupt his company his family and they will not stop. That means with the wall he has a couple of choices. Number1 if he chooses to not go all out and get the wall in place then the country will be gone and the globalist will be in charge because they will have so many illegal votes that it really will not matter... there will be one party the globalists... will be in charge permanently and this country will be gone. That means President Trump’s money and his family are basically gone on a faster train. The second choice is to go all out and do what it takes to take chances and get the wall in place using the military or whatever to stop the globalists. I do not see how he can avoid Choice number 2 knowing that if he does not put the wall in place his family is basically a goner. If he does not choose number two then he doesn’t quite understand equation and I would find that hard to believe. He has no choice for the country is gone and he is gone and his family is gone and his business is gone. Does anybody disagree with this assertion?
I find Coulter to be mostly a contrarian. She isn’t interested in core principles. She just loves attention and she’s found that being a radical conservative (in her mind) will give it to her. She is primarily about fomenting outrage. I don’t feel she gives too hoots about conservatism. She realized that being a radical liberal doesn’t get you on TV or book sales. I’d bet money she doesn’t truly believe in anything other than herself.
I guess maybe Ann is considering running on the next Hillary ticket....
