And it becomes even more creepy when you consider FB, Google, Apple, Amazon and Microsoft and how they universally hate America and would happily organize our destruction IF they could be assured they would win.

They would do the same for us as IBM did for nazi Germany

“You would think somewhere there would be a slight mention of communists stabbing German soldiers in the back and surrendering on their behalf while they were busy fighting a war.”

What the hell are you referring to?

“I’ve read Mein Kampf, and not once is Charles Darwin mentioned there.”

No, but Henry Ford theories, eugenics and race hygiene is. And of course, both were direct descendants of Darwin.
Amazing how any thread about German mass murder of Jews causes dozens to stop polishing their maltese falcons and rush into apologetics, explaining that Jews weren’t special, that others were even worse, etc.

So the roughly equal number of folks killed in other groups targeted by the Nazis WASN’T “one of the most destructive and murderous events in the history of human civilization.”

Typical lefty college prof with an agenda.

continually made improvements in their hardware and software ...I was shocked to discover that this was true.

No, it isn't. The counters were mechanical, not electronic. No software involved.

How many have heard of the Holomodor..?

Something like 6-7 million deliberately starved to death, and the cruel twist is that very many of them were farmers.

I learned just yesterday about the etymology of the word, “kulak”:

Apparently it means GREEDY, presumably because they grew food and, being in the far-flung countryside, were difficult to monitor and tax.

Yet, “greedy”.

Can you imagine that..? DISGUSTING.

And if you mention “Holomodor” to 99% of Americans NO ONE KNOWS, and very many never knew.

(full disclosure: I’m not Ukranian)

What the hell are you referring to?

Early 20th Century history not your strong point?

Start with the Spartacus League and its role in the November Revolution and the Spartacus Rebellion.

Looks like the scientists and University professors of the US are repeating history in how they have all become antisemitic and antiChristian.

No, but Henry Ford theories, eugenics and race hygiene is. And of course, both were direct descendants of Darwin.

Did Darwin also inspire the Spanish Inquisition to persecute Jews? Who knew that Jesuits could time-travel. And oddly enough, while Hitler never mentions Darwin or any other prominent biologist with approval, he does approvingly quote Martin Luther several times.

The point is, ill will between Jews and Gentiles goes back about millennia before anyone even thought about evolution. Competition and conflict between racial and ethnic groups goes back further still - it's been around as long as we've had tribes. Nobody ever needed to read Henry Ford's pamphlets or study racial hygiene to be tribal.

Amazing how any thread about German mass murder of Jews causes dozens to stop polishing their maltese falcons and rush into apologetics, explaining that Jews weren’t special, that others were even worse, etc.

How does pointing out that mass murder of other groups in the name of Communism (Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot) or Islam (Ottoman Turks) "apologize" for Hitler? It doesn't make Hitler look better, it makes these groups look worse, as intended.

I didn’t see that he minimized others death, but what I have been told is that during that time the world population of Jews was about 15 million and Hitler killed 6 million of those. Any mass murder is sick but his research was about Hitler and his attempt to wipe out a population.

Many non-Jewish Germans thus believed the confiscation of Jewish property was justified. Consequently, the vast majority of Germans fully agreed, or at least did not oppose, the reparations Jews were forced to pay. The last step was to send Jews to concentration camps to work to help pay for the ‘just’ reparations to the German people.

Most Jewish Professors, including Einstein, were removed from their positions to allow Germans to take their place. Consequently, very few professors complained about the forced removal of Jews from the professorate. The same thing occurred in other professions. The textbook I used for my Cultural Diversity course which covered this issue was replaced by a text on white privilege and what can be done about it to insure all non-whites have the same opportunities as white males.

Outside of the conservative Jewish Community only Tucker Carlson is sensing the underlying horror that's happening in our culture - - that we're following a similar path - with 'white men' and 'white children' being 'scapegoats' of choice.

...that Jews were seen as unjustly enriching themselves at the expense of the killers and that killing them and taking their property was justified. AND that the murders by Germany had a very efficient and high intensity in 42-43 because they were organized by the tech industry of the day IBM. He is essentially saying that today’s scapegoating of white Americans, combined with a tech industry that hates us completely puts us at risk. He is on to something.

Under Obama, the Department of Homeland Security was putting out pamphlets with 'the terrorists' being white men as often or more often than terrorists being Middle Easter Muslims. That should have been our first hint. Your comment DesertRhino is the most insightful so far... thanks for sharing.

Throw in the fact that lots of Antifa comes from Universities - a group that pushes violence and intimidation - and you're seeing the birthing of an American Einsatzgruppen...

“The American company IBM also strove to keep up with the Nazi task and continually made improvements in their hardware and software to achieve this Nazi goal.”

A charge made in 2001 by Edwin Black with all the obviousness that hindsight provides. Unless he has evidence that IBM knew what the Nazi regime was planning to do he is arguing that everyone who did business with the German gov’t in the 1930s was an accomplice to genocide.

One of the Amazon reviewers provides some balance:

“One of the biggest problems I had with this book is that so much is written with the benefit of hindsight. He seems to think the entire population of the U.S., all the Jews in Germany, everyone in Europe, and often the whole world “knew” what was going to happen. I can’t believe that when Hitler published Mein Kampf in the 1920s (before he was even well known) that the whole world should have foreseen Auschwitz 20 years later. I have trouble with the idea that because a census of the population was taken in 1933 in Prussia that everyone should have envisioned the “final solution” (which was) first discussed at Wannsee in 1939” (The Wannsee Conference was actually January 1942).

“IBM’s relationship with the German company it bought was always adversary. Thomas Watson, after “insulting” Hitler by returning a medal he had earlier been awarded by the Third Reich, was in the author’s words, “persona non grata” in Germany. He was certainly not privy to the Nazi government’s top secret plans about the destruction of the Jews and the implementation of death camps in Eastern Europe. He may not have been disturbed about it if he had been, but the book doesn’t show it. IBM was not IG Farben, at least not based on this material.”

“... as “socially inferior” beings who needed to be cleansed from society.”

Did Hitler, Goering, Himmler, Goebbels, Hess, Eichmann, et al. ever look in a mirror? Talk about a group of ugly, thuggish, drug-using losers. They should have killed themselves first for the cleansing of the so-called master race.
