I go to the VFW breakfasts and they serve the eggs on the pancakes which is fine but I eat the eggs before I add syrup. I can’t take the eggs with syrup. ;<)
Cheesy bacon boarded.
Triple Stack McMuffin is still available. At least in this area.
“What’s the matter with just getting a cheeseburger with special sauce?”
I’ve heard they will do that for you if you ask but I’ve never asked.
Better yet, maybe a quarter pounder with sauce, now that they’re using fresh (i.e. never frozen) meat for their qp’s.
I’ve been getting a McDouble “dressed like a Big Mac” for years. You get the McDouble price, with like 50 cents added.
It’s amazing.
Breakfast to me is bacon, eggs and hash browns with hot cakes, real maple syrup and peanut butter. I like pecan waffles once and awhile but the peanut butter usually puts people off. Just one of my many character flaws.
Ugh...I wouldn’t want eggs on pancakes either. My Dad put ketchup on a lot of things...even eggs. The other thing I don’t like is Steak Sauce or Worcestershire Sauce on a good steak. To me it just ruins it.
This discussion of the food options at MCDs calls to mind Solzhenitsyn’s description of the fish soup in the Gulags.
Disputing fish-heads is at least analagous to disputing pink slime products.
Funny.
But give me Big Macs. I’ll make it up sometime later.
I man after my own (cholesterol filled) heart.
Hopefully the one in my nearby town is a participating one.
I’ll definitely go for the fries, maybe the big mac.
They tried. But they paired it as “Little, Big, Something Bigger”.
Guess it didn’t take off.
I was outraged when a McDonalds hamburger went from .15 to .18 cents.
But even back then I think cheese was .10 cents extra.
OMG, those fries. No one used ketchup on those fries I remember. They so ruined their fries.
For once.
True story - McDonald’s did their first big test on the McRib in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Mostly African American county. The other weird thing about Pine Bluff is it is the home of our chemical and biological arsenal. Probably all destroyed by now.
Living in Arkansas we’d joke about the McRib being a mutant pig farm near the arsenal.
I was wondering about the sodium content. Few people realize how hard it is to limit sodium to the recommended 2500 mg per day. My Mom is on Dr’s orders to hold hers down to 1500 mg per day. THAT’s tough, because she likes canned soup, fast food burgers, etc.
How didn’t this happen a long time ago?
Wow, no offense, but you literally must have a big mouth. I’m guessing my minimum # of bites on a basic McD hamburger would be 3.

Only 7 original McDonald’s golden arches still exist, and one is in N.J.
You ever compare the picture of a Big Mac to the burger you get? How about the Whopper?
I like Hardee’s....where the burgers look like the pictures.
Now sell it in the Middle East.
