Totally agree, I’ve seen local Caribbean vendors selling chicken sandwiches to the tourists. A chicken thigh with bones in a bare white bun, all the chicken had bones sticking out.

At least one person had taken immediately ill after a sip of a ‘flat pop’ from the minibar stash. Bleeding from the mouth possibly implicates a caustic.
The number of stars indicates the types of services on the premises. 5 stars just means private rooms, private bathrooms, fine dining, bar and room service and other amenities are available. It usually means its a nice place but doesn’t mean its any cleaner or safer or more comfy than a 3 star place. Not all 5 star resorts are made alike. But resorts are usually 5 stars because they want to be all inclusive so the guests don’t have to leave the property.
Ganja seems safer to me (medically, maybe not legally depending where you are). The “corporate packaging” is what makes people think they can trust bottled alcohol, not knowing seals can be breached and labels counterfeited (maybe rare here, but not in 3rd world countries).
This is disgusting! How sad!
Why would anyone tamper with the minibar bottles? I’m horrified. And no one will travel there at this point. Hurting the good people who do work there.
