Putin’s a more reliable conservative than most of the GOP. What an eff’d up world we are living in.

Putin is the the guy that passes wind as he is stepping out of a full elevator. Sure he is telling the truth this time but he is doing so for the reaction and trying not to laugh as he walks away.

Why do you feel that the winds are shifting toward the Left?

Maybe I am a silly optimist, but I see shifting toward our side. Aren’t there indications of that in Europe? Australia? Even Iran.

Why do we have to think that the slippery slope leans left?

I, for one, am grateful that there are signs that the common sense folks are winning the ideas battle.

The last two nights are proof that the Left has NOTHING to offer patriots, but a he!! of a lot to offer ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS.

Do you think that’s a winning platform?

I prefer to think positive.

I get it, but celebrating Putin’s “truth” (and since he’s a snake I discount any social commentary of his: regardless of the man’s personal feelings if Putin though supporting pederasty would help his cause I suspect he’d be cheering on NAMBLA) is no different from celebrating a Klansman saying “illegal immigrants should be deported.” Reagan was right to call the Soviets The Evil Empire.

“Why do you feel that the winds are shifting toward the Left?”

A quote by Lenin summed it up for me: “Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.”

I always start my assessments at the educational level. What goes on in the schools. That’s the foundation of our way of life in America. It’s cultural, legal, scientific, humanities and history. These things have all changed for the worse. Stupid kids being useful idiots means stupid adults who are useful idiots.

If you really want to understand why we are going leftward at an advanced pace, just read quotes by Lenin. Is quotes sum up the Democrat party perfectly.

That was the soviets, not the Russia.

And Reagan was not neocon John McCain.

It doesn’t matter if it is the Soviets or the Russia or the Putin or the Klan or the ISIS or the Antifa. Giving aid and comfort to the enemy is what I expect from Jane Fonda.

Great points. Putin should never be believed or trusted.

“No matter what this man says nor how much anyone may agree with his sentiments, he is a viper and not to be trusted. This is all theatre. It is troubling how many normally smart people (rightly) bash Antifa etc but slobber all over this guy.”

That being said Putin is the “enemy outside of the gates” and the vipers inside our country are far more dangerous to America and freedom.

While you're correct on the proximity front, it would seem there are several "conservative" Americans willing to cheer-on evil as long as evil says the "right thing" on sundry issues. They're like Liberals cheering on Cuba because of free health care.

Reagan government used to cooperate with islam mujahedeen fighters, in Afghanistan and Pakistan, to confront Soviets.

That was then, this is now.

I’m sorry, Andy, I do not see our country as fragile.

I see little wins every day and I think the wins will get bigger and bigger.

In those cases, America and those fighters had a common enemy in the Soviets.

I do not believe Putin hates Liberalism Inc. If he thought LGBT was means of achieving greater power he'd fly rainbow flags over the Kremlin.

I’d like to assume Putin are as sanctimonious as Russophobia “conservatives”(the guys who have already been the foot soldiers of LGBTQ crusade).
