An excellent post. I cannot disagree with anything you wrote.

The House Republicans should have replaced Ryan but they were content to let him retire in place and do nothing other than subvert the Trump agenda. It was their responsibility and duty to put in place a functioning speaker who would help the president (that the party elected) to implement his agenda (that the people voted for).

The House Republicans refused to do their duty. They are a disgrace. If they regain the House they will surely fool us again.

Flimsey Grahamnesty needs to be replaced with a patriot that sides with the citizens and the rule of law.
He is still working to get the Democrats a permanent majority with amnesty for illegal aliens as he has since 2006.

Fake news.
It’s a fight between competing far left factions, and Pelosi doesn’t have any goals which are different from those of Occasional Cortex. The two just use different lines of rhetoric.

You’re easily fooled, but you’re not alone, lots of people were.

Flimsey Grahamnesty is still working on the amnesty he’s been trying to pass since 2006 to give the Democrats a permanent majority and our country to fraudulently documented foreigners.

Bus League Republicans MUST become extinct before the Republic does.

Okay, if he’s right——then what? The moronic Republicans will simply sell out the country——just a bit slower and differently than the Democrats.

Wishful/hopeful. I don’t see the GOP doing much of anything. They have pretty much disappeared since President Trump was elected.

If Sen. Graham doesn’t run, who should replace him?

State Sen. Lee Bright ran in the last primary and seemed like a better prospect than someone whose primary mission is amnesty for illegal aliens.

You are totally correct, but what *might* make a difference for 2020 is making sure during the primaries of those 31 seats that a Trump supporter wins the nomination. Then instead of a GOP controlled House there would be a Trump House. Would also have to primary a lot of the putative GOP committee chairmen as well - a tall order, but probably the last Hail Mary available.

We could have good reps again by 2025 if things go in the right direction...I mean, just like back when we had real good GOP representation...like...back...oh wait.

Actually, if they manage to stop the “infighting” a week prior to the polling places going live, no one among the dem voters will remember the “infighting” by the time they show up to vote, and vote and vote, then drive to the next set of precincts to vote and vote and vote again.
