Concrete boxes for everyone!
Rats always “unveil” great things according to our domestic enemies.
Translation... the middle class will pay for Bernie's boondoggle. The wealthy have assets... not income. And they hire smartest professionals in the world to incorporate and shelter the assets.
So Bernie’s Plan is to give everything away for free but make everyone pay through the nose for Global Warming ?
Bernie - if the DNC applies the budget for the presidential campaign to building homes, you’d have nearly half of the budget you want to build houses. Show us how it’s done, spend the money on building America instead of tearing it apart.
Great minds think alike?* ;-)
Thankfully, your wife-to-be had a short stay.
*Actually, I was trying to recall the similar large scale “project” in Chicago, initially, but I guess “Pruit- Igoe” stuck with me either because I was closer to it, at the time (my teen years), or maybe it’s just a catchier name. (I still don’t remember the name of that biggest Chi-town public housing development, but, friends drove me by at a bit of a distance one time when I was visiting, and even that was an unsettling experience.)
the 1 percenters will move away and take their money with them. Who will be left?
Robert Taylor homes, Chicago.

These utopian projects never work
Crazy Bernie is too stupid to realize.

What an excellent post.
I learned something from it. I always knew socialism would mean a necessary elite cadre to run the people who dont wish to give up their stuff for the good of others. Thanks to you, I now learn that top down socialist control also helps the very groups (industry titans) that the socialists rail against. It hurts the small family business the most.
Its anti-American, because America is the land where simple, poor people can work hard and become successful.
Dr. Zhivago needs to be played 24/7.
Ever wonder why there are scores of holocaust movies, and hardly any at all about Communism genocides?
Could you be thinking about the Cabrini-Green project?
A government big enough to give you everything you want is big enough to take everything you have.
Outstanding clip from the classic movie, from the Soviet banned book that was an underground samizdat before it was smuggled out of the Soviet Union. Pasternak was banned for decades, and Dr. Zhivago rejected for publication in the USSR and the manuscript had to be secretly smuggled to Italy for publication. Pasternak was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1958, an event which enraged the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, which forced him to decline the prize!
Ironically— in 2003 Dr. Zhivago became part of Russian school curriculum as required reading— very interesting.
Your point well taken— the socialist bastards will lecture what is “FAIR” distributing what is not theirs in the first place (having appropriated it, as in this clip)— and ALL the while the “ruling elite” ... in this “classless” (NOT) society, get special privileges, more money and living space.. just because they bullied their way up a corrupt inhuman system. Humanity is the first failure of Communism— it disregards Human emotions, needs, and interaction.
And yeah— there are all kinds of holocaust movies that neglect to point out the Nazis were Socialists— selectively re-distributing the wealth.... wealth, not the income of certain groups. The Soviets kept records— and then the Russians kept mostly the records... sealed. But some have gotten through.
May I recommend the movie “Death of Stalin”— you will laugh your rear off— and the movie is Banned currently in Russia- so that is saying something. Another one— is “Red Monarch” Both of them hilarious and at the same time... appalling. The character of Beria in each— an infection of a lumpen toady of Stalin’s.
Thanks. Yes exactly, and why I called it the ‘soft underbelly’ because it is rarely explained that way to people but I think if it were explained that way more people would understand how horrible it is. And you get it. The big entrenched interests won’t ever be hurt by a 70% or 90% income tax rate. Corporations will simply pass those taxes onto consumers anyway; while individual wealth is preserved. But even individuals making $100,000s of dollars a year will find it hard to invest in something of their own creation if they are having to give 70% of it away each year. And why should they even take a risk to start a business or develop a novel piece of equipment even if they could save enough to do so? Just to give 70%-90% of it away IF they actually succeed? High income taxes will only help the entrenched interests while hurting everyone else, and inhibiting anyone with a good idea or novel approach or desire to create something new and willingness to invest in themselves. It makes almost everyone a dependent on someone else, forever. You’d have to borrow money or take on investors instead of doing it yourself with your own savings.
And tax rates for many in places like New York and California when you add in state taxes, property taxes, sales & gas taxes, license fees, and federal income taxes is already approaching some 60%. It’s crazy to try to squeeze more out of people.
Notice the “journalist” author of this article in the propaganda The Hill? Tal Axelrod.... kin to Axelrod the Chicago commie who was obamaumao’s right hand man.
Axelrod... the family direct lineage from Bolshevik Russia the name is widely linked throughout Bolshevik and Communist Eastern Europe. Including David Axelrod’s father— who was a card carrying CPUSA member.. pure communist.
This makes it for me. At last, a man and a plan i can believe!! So handsome! So distinguished! So well-balanced! A communist system that just cant missI mean-what could possibly go wrong???
There is no typhus in Moscow
