This is why I send my kids to private school. People in this world are just too stupid to even deal with.

So I will share my opinion...I would really like to agree with you. But, at 69, I can’t recall one instance when American society ‘strikes back’. Not against any US Supreme Court decision, state, Federal or local law, corporate decision, etc.
We, American society, just get steamrolled. Again and again.

No, nothing is going to change until the school board members are held accountable. Vote their sorry asses out of office. All that is needed. Then, the new school board members can run off the school administrators if necessary.
School board members are agents of the voters.
Only those with mental problems are allowed to be triggered.
Long past time for private schools. And the feds can be told that if they want boys in girls bathrooms and visa versa, they have their own very inferior ‘publik skoolz’ where inmates are supervised, indoctrinated, and then pushed out to become gubmit employees.

I did not put a time on my prediction.
I also used the term “flashpoint” but another term would work “black swan”. A (poor) analogy would be an enclosed building where there is a gas leak. Nothing is changed until there is a spark, then everything changes (violently).
If I have learned nothing over my 70 plus years it is that nothing continues forever. Change is the normal status of life.
I say this all the time, and I will continue to do so. Putting your kids in public school at this point is child abuse.
Parents should do everything and anything to withdraw from the school system at this point, it’s beyond redemption at this point. It doesn’t matter that your district is fine for now, it’s only a matter of time before this spreads and it will.

Not to be a geography-nazi, but Palatine is in northeast Illinois; it is a northwest suburb of chicago.
That’s ok, it will NEVER happen in MY school district because I know teachers by name and even see them in the supermarket once in a while - so they’re human, at least here in Texas.
This crap only happens in those ‘other’ school districts...let them deal with it.

So we have ONE GIRL out of 500 students complaining. What are we supposed to do, change the policy for the other 499 students who obviously support the policy? That would be simply WRONG and we must NEVER allow that.
We pay for these schools. Why should we not use them? If parents want this stuff to change, they need to take control of the school boards. Get involved! Homeschooling isn't the answer. It's just another word for giving up.

True, but most parents cannot afford what you say.
Let me modify that a bit: “Most parents cannot afford what you say, while maintaining the lifestyle they desire.”
Sadly, many otherwise conservative parents have higher priorities than protecting their kids from brainwashing and other mental abuses.

Well, I’m 72...and I’ve learned at least 1 thing does go on forever...taxes.

Not quite. While it’s true that he can’t react while ‘checking out’ the girls’ soccer team, since he’s claiming to be a girl. The next week, he may well be back to identifying as a boy, and then make his selection(s).
