So we lift 100,000,000 tons of ore into space (or mine it from some moon on Jupiter with a 10 year travel time to the ‘Space Steel Mill’ [SSM}).
Then the SSM works its magic with solar panels, the steel is covered with a ceramic heat shield...
Then, hopefully, it’s dropped on the Washington Post during a board meeting.

There is no lifting capacity for the raw materials and re-entry of tons of finished material has never been done.
On the plus side, delivery cost would be really cheap.

Bezos is counting on government or government mandated contracts from around the world to pay him to to do it. It won’t be his money paying for it, it will be yours; either yours from taxes or yours in the prices the affected industries will be charging to cover the cost of the contracts Bezo’s idea will mandate.
Bezo’s and Musk really know how to make money. Get your products either mandated by or subsidized by the government.
