Perhaps the Gang of Eight is being briefed about a possible New Year's surprise from NK, which could launch a test firing of an ICBM. Or it could be related to a possible deal with the Taliban.

Iran/Iraq ping
Here is a new link at my AOL site. It appears that a US contractor was killed and 4 US service people injured last Friday at Kirkuk (link provided in link below). On Sunday 5 US bombing raids were done and this has caused an Iran response as described in this link.

One wonders, when one is wondering, how much of the pallet-loads of cash that Obama gave to the Iranians was used to purchase the rockets that the “Iranian-sponsored Shiite militia group” used to attack our people.

The Iraqi PM is a puppet of Iran and one of the reasons there have been a lot of protests of Iranian backed militias and govt corruption (supported by iran). So this PM (who is scheduled to step down by the end of the month because of the protests) is just an echo of the Iranian mullahs
